- Joyce's Fathers' Day Gift has arrived and we get my first impressions on it.
The Czech BR193 Vectron is replacing older multinational locos like the BR371 on all Czech InterCity (IC) and EuroCity (EC) express trains.

Hi, Charlie! Yes, we may have to go back. Joyce also suddenly wants to go to Hawaii after a day in Honolulu.
@@ModelTrainOutsider we have been down there a couple of times including trips to The Weta Cave, hobbiton, the bay of Plenty , Napier and Qeenstown in the south island. Another trip we flew to LA to visit our daughter then a week in Hawaii before flying to Auckland. we satyed at the old railway station which had been converted to a hotel. we then boarded a cruise ship down the coast to a few cities, through The Sounds then over to Tasmania where we spent a couple of days before heading to Sydney. It was nice to be in Sydney for a week as it gave us time to explore.
We have friends who live south of Melborne so we flew there and spent five day exploring Melbourne then a weekend with friends in Mornington.
Our last stop in Australia was Cairns, they have a train that goes up and down the mountain, quite spectacular
Hiya Anthony , Great looking Vectron . Loving it . Looks and sound Fantastic . Its something i am still getting used to the 4 pantographs on a loco . When i Brought my Vectron its the first thing that took my by Surprise ( 193650 " Shadowpiercer " SBB Cargo Black ) The Czech Livery actually Suits it quite Well . Thanks for letting us have a Look at the Beauty 😎

Stunning model Anthony !! Sound is amazing from Roco on the vectrons. Even the QR works correctly when scanned ! I have the boXpress one and one of my favourite model !
They have been impressive... I am not sure how many Vectrons Roco has now released, but it is well over 3 dozen

The VERY long-range forecast is that I will do catenary, but that is not for a long time.
Welcome back from Australia!!! Show us the trains you brought back with you!! And I like this new loco, was thinking about getting something similar, still in my shopping car as other things have arrived…
No trains bought in Australia... well, no trains for me. Just some containers and a car.
