- Another weekend, another set of weddings and these two couldn't be more different in their colour schemes. Come along as I do up my orders using locally grown cut flowers from my flower farm near Saskatoon, SK Canada. Being a zone 3 flower farmer isn't easy, but it's amazing how much we can grow and the beautiful bouquets we can create.

Kristen, I’ve enjoyed your beautiful bouquets since your backyard journey ....there’s not one wedding you do that’s not perfect...these bouquets any bride would be proud to hold in there hands....u do fantastic bouquets.....u have so much patience with children, chickens....and kitties.....this 70+ yr old loves watching your videos....I’m a flower grower too and I no how much time it takes to maintain,cut,defoilage, and make bouquets....100% in agreement with the first comment....so very proud of u❤️
All your flowers are beautiful! I would always say rich colours attract me, but the white and pink arrangements are stunning! I think it was the combo of textures and the nuances in colour that won my attention. Wishing you a quiet end to your busy weekend prep to relax and cuddle your baby.

Please give yourself some grace ❤ and be kind to yourself. You need rest if your kiddos watch a movie or they are on their tablets that doesn't make you a bad Mama!!

Look, you need to stay well and sane to be with your kids at all! If you turn the TV on while you steal an hour of sleep, no guilt whatsoever. They're together, will look after one another and comment on what they watch. It's not as if you do it every day, give yourself some grace!
One suggestion, if I may: cutting your ribbon ends in swallow tail shape sometimes gives that extra something:))

Both bouquets are lovely, Kristen. Of course the more colorful one stands out more on the video. In person I’m sure they’re equally beautiful. The anemones are spectacular this year. Glad your flowers are doing better and better. It takes time to determine when is the best time to sow seed. You’re getting to know when is right for you. Sorry to hear about the witty green problem. Fixing at the last minute is major stress. Bless your heart, girl….4 kids and hubby away and 2 weddings. 👍🌹💕
Your bouquets are beautiful! As far as getting some rest...when my daughter was young and I just wanted to close my eyes for a few minutes, I would get out my brush and makeup and let her play "beauty parlor" on me. I was able to lay quietly, I knew where she was, and honestly it felt very good.
Life is about seasons and mama life is about survival. So this is the season of screen time and little ones learning patience while mama works on her business. Their confidence that their mama loves them does not come from a short time period. They are learning what it means to have a good work ethic and that’s great.
A tired mom just can not function well and the guilt monster grows so give him the boot and do what you need to sleep.
On a side note if you are posting your videos a bit of time from when you filmed could you please give a general time period so we can know what is blooming at the right time for you. What’s growing for you matches late spring for me so I’m curious how different your zone is.

Be gentle on yourself. You are doing an amazing job of juggling all of your responsibilities. These orders look amazing! I am usually a pastel girl, but my vote is for the color on this one. You're killing it! You will get through this

Your snapdragons look like mine did this year and I was just as proud of them as you are. Was that Costa Silver? Also, I can concur that anemones last longer in the beds than ranuncs do. Interestingly my anemone meron bordeaux is lasting as a cut flower in our heat wave of 30+/- degrees. The only anemone that does.
I've heard it said before that those who think they are bad moms are usually the best moms. Congrats, you must be a really good mom. Also, that ending was sooo cute.
Your bouquets are that gorgeous, I'm absolutely fascinated by all of them!!! To be honest: If I ever were able to make such bouquets, I would think I reached the heaven of floristry! And I think you are one of the best moms I know! Its the problem of us all, being working moms, to think we do something wrong. But you give everything you can for your kids and I sometimes think you even do more, so keep care of yourself! Your children need you healthy, they also don't want you to be stressed out just to do everything perfect for them. And a little bit of tv gives them the possibility to know, about what themes the other kids are talking ;) Its not everydays program for you and them and one hour is completely ok! Enjoy your wonderful work and family, you are wonderful and you do the things in the completely right way, honestly!! I send you the best wishes and hugs from one mom to the other!! 🤗💖🌻
Solo parenting is so HARD and exhausting! I also have four kids and would let them watch a movie so I could nap on the sofa if I needed sleep. My kids are all now older other than our almost 2 year old and he too is getting in molars he has been so clingy. So no need to feel bad you can’t be a good mom if you are not caring for yourself. ❤

Your snaps will bend towards the light or upwards. Wrap them and keep them upright while conditioning and they will be straight.
