Imagine how dramatically different it would be if they used the Australian Bucher Municipal side loader trucks. That's what we use here in New Zealand, they're actually pretty cool to be fair, yeah imagine how different it would be using these types of trucks, (Obviously yes the disadvantages is they can only do one bin at a time, trouble with getting into tighter spaces and designed to be operated by only the driver instead of two people)
@@germangarbagetrucks8646 Interesting 🤙. In my area of New Zealand we use Hino 500 trucks with a Bucher Municipal body mounted on top, always makes that fine roaring sound when the truck is doing a bin. I sometimes film our trucks as well, just put one out a couple days ago.
The Bucher SLs exist in Germany and Europe, just very few of them. Haller has imported the MJ SL to Europe since the MKIII and nowadays Geesink import them. Search for Geesink Norba SL and you should find some pictures of a Bucher in Europe. Not that many SLs in Europe, most of our big cities already existed by the time New Zealand was first populated. Because of that, the street aren‘t usually as wide which makes a RL more feasible.
@@closedaccount4874 idk yet it's mostly random when I see a garbage truck outside my area. The workers in my area doesn't want to be filmed. But yea I'm planning on doing a new bin update cause I got loads of new bins since the last one. Also check my insta there I post pics of new Addictions. @hoffman_g_
For Germany I'm not impressed. They should use a side robotic arm like Australian and US trucks. That guy would be fired but that'd be more efficient for the waste management company.
@@cashbonanza963 idk. Rear loaders gets more Jobs, plus we have Lots of really small street and alleys where side loaders wouldn't get or could proper Operate. Plus people are to stupid to put the bins the right way and the right street side

We had sideloaders for 20 years but most areas gone back to rear loaders.
