I work at a gas station and you are able to refuse the ticket. If the transaction is finished, you cannot. But if you decide not to buy it the cashier is able to void it from the transaction. There are no returns on lottery tickets by Texas law. So if you are unsure just say "no I don't want that one" and they can put it back.
On another note, I won 1000 and 500 on the $5 big winnings tickets last week. Good luck and happy scratchin' bro!

Have you ever tried that trick where you hammer a durable stick into the ground where you think worms would be at and then keep hitting that stick for a long time vibrating it and waiting to see if any worms start coming out of the ground? I wonder if it would work there.

In my experience, once you have PAID for a ticket, then all sales are final. However, if payment has not yet been finalized, then you can change your mind on tickets.
I called the TX Lottery and spoke with their legal dept. I will share what they said in tomorrow's video.

Oh yes but I do sometimes agree with the gut instinct thing. I once obeyed a gut instinct to go into a place for tickets. I was about to skip that place and go to another store but something told me I had a winner in there. I went in not knowing which one I was going to get, and picked a 30dol cost ticket that was a fifty dol winner hurray! ... but I usually try to decide what ones I'm going to buy before I go.
