True Story - from Houston Tx. I had a friend 60 something who was near retirement who worked with me for a long time and everyday during his break he would go the gas station and buy multiple $10.00 scratch offs. Well one day he bought his scratch off and won the big 1mil prize. I never saw him again after that day. His boss told me that when he scratched off that ticket he walked into his office, showed it to him, and told him he is retiring early. He left the same day quietly without being noticed and didn't tell anyone.

The ticket was not a winner so I threw it on the floor and started stomping on it and cussing. This girl walked over and said what are you doing? I said this stupid scratcher cost me 2 dollars of wasted money and I wanted to win millions. She picked up my ticket and looked at me then said. You stupid hillbilly you can't win millions with this card. I said why not? She said what does this number say? I said 25 Million dallars. She said you need to go back to your still that says 25 thousand dollars. So I told the clerk they ripped me off. Well I was kicked out.

I Use to be addicted to buying scratches and had a notebook I’d keep track of how much I spent and lost. I’d buy out of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and the outcome was for each state I only won around half the money back that I had spent. Needless to say I gave up and will never buy scratch offs again🤣
The house always wins. The house is supposed to win. With our losses we are buying the dream of a BIG WIN, not a break even or a little extra. Break even or a little extra is very nice when it happens, but it's not the dream. You can go way overboard even with just the lottery. With a little moderation you can have some fun, and maybe hit the dream.

But I just know, if I let my tickets run out without new bets. THAT is when the numbers will come out. Know what I mean? I have played the same 5 numbers on Keno and seen all 5 come out. But not when I had a bet going

@@SODATAPP Lol. Actually I did buy a ticket for $20. Won $5000. I still have $3K in a CD. dumbest thing I ever did, but it did gain interest though for 6 mos. I will reinvest it to stocks with dividends.

This is nothing compared to what I loss in the past years
i could not do that unless I won over 25k after taxes, that's the only way I would by 1K of scratch-offs.
I did something about the same many years ago. When I worked at a 7-11, if I saw that no one won big on a particular roll of tickets I would wait until I ended my shift and then after walking out and coming back in as a customer I would buy the end of a pack. Most of the time I came out ahead.
Illegal to buy them while employed there I wouldn’t turn in any big winners

I work for a company that does taxes. Yesterday a customer came in to file his 2023 taxes. He had a $10,000 win. He says he always plays the end of the packs too.
How do you buy the end of the pack? Do you ask the cashier how many tickets are left?

What is sad about this ticket is its $50 with a chance to win $1M, here in South Carolina we have $10 tickets that you can win $2M on
in uk we have £5 you can win £2m on
That means there's less winners of any kind overall. 1m on 50$ means it hits often for decent amounts. Lotteries only have certain amounts of money to use in the ticket fund.
In Germany we get 3m on a 5 euro toket....its very good ya.
I've played the lottery since 1974, every single week. Most I've won is $1K. I shiver thinking how much money I've lost.
I recently started and I got 500 ,but I mostly get even or lose ,often I get 100 and mostly 50 or 20

I had bought dozens of packs of $10, $5 and $2 (won't anymore). Getting through them was like real work. Only ONE pack of $2s paid more than it cost me out of pocket. The average was between 33% and 68% of my initial cost(s). Not good for anyone looking to make money.
My Family would pool money to buy a pack at The County Fair, because, every $20 spent, you could spin a wheel to win promotional tickets. Hardly ever got more than 50% back
In Florida it's more like 33% - 40% unless you get lucky. I've only had 1 pack of many to get a return on my money.

Man, those companies are in business to make money. They will never pay out more than they take in,never.
You don't buy books except for content . Just like any gambling don't risk more than you want to lose. Expect to lose all. That way if you win you feel the luck.
I won on Powerball way back in 2007! Halloween night to be exact! Didn’t find out for 2 weeks because we always did multi draws! I hit 4 white balls and the Powerball. Back then you only got $10,000. It was nice because cash was tight for that Holiday!

So about a year ago I had a stroke and it completely shut me down I've been truck driving for 38 years. It's been about a year and I'm back on my feet again thank God. And I'm going back to work. we do not have a $50 ticket in GA. Our largest is $30. A roll of $10 tickets is numbered from #000- #029. A roll of $2 tickets is numbered 000-149..$300

If you noticed all the losers have a bunch of one off numbers ....the winners dont have many or any one off numbers ! Say you have 50 ? You will see a lot of one offs like 49 and 51

This made me nervous. They really made it hard to win. When the tickets first came out in Florida there were many winning tickets. They got us hooked and slowed things down. I am waiting for a new ticket to come out and then I will be ready to get another pack. Thanks for the fun.

I do believe buying books is the best way to find a Jackpot - or decent Claimer. Now, for schmucks who cannot afford to buy books (my hand is raised), I recall the strategy of a guy who claimed to have won over $900,000 via scratch tickets. He said, buy ten (10) of whatever you can afford. So, if you have only $50 to spend, buy ten $5 tickets. Then, use the winning money to buy more tickets from the same book. In other words, try to buy as much of the book as you can using "house money". Sounds good to me, but if it's all truly random - then it doesn't matter how the tickets are bought. Buying full books makes the most sense to me, though.
That's an interesting way to play as long as you can keep track of the winners. I think you will really enjoy tomorrow's session.
@@FixinToScratch ~ Well, the bookkeeping aspect is secondary. The primary goal is to use the "winners" resulting from first ten tix purchased, to buy more of same book. The objective is to get best shot at winning a Jackpot, or at least a Claimer. That method requires sole access to the book you're working on, of course, which isn't always possible. Again, none of this theory counts if it's all truly random.

I scratch the easy way. Scratch off the bar codes and instantly see is you won or not, saves you from spending a lot of time scratching off each numbers and mess.
Then he wouldn’t have content for TH-cam. TH-cam pays very well actually, especially these 1 mil + videos.

I think it was auspicious that just as you picked ticket #19 as the big winner you scratched off 19 on the ticket you were scratching. Sixty percent return on your $1,000 ain’t bad!

A couple of months ago, a friend and I actually split the cost and played an entire pack of $2 tickets. We got $120 back out of the $200 cost, including a $40 outlier win. Wish you had hit a big outlier also, but at least you didn't get trounced.

I started to pick nineteen in the Florida lottery when it first started... If I would have I would have hit all six and won 22M, instead $3325 for five numbers..!
Sometimes you should scratch vertically (instead of horizontal) to increase wins as well.....changing it up, in other words, can spark luck and more wins.

Never fails, you keep scratching numbers 1 off of your numbers, you have a losing card. I've found that $3-$5 tickets hit the most but I've also hit for $50 every single time I bought this one $2 ticket in Florida for an entire week straight

in Michigan we start our rolls from the top down. and it goes down to 00.. So this would be 19 through 00 .. It's funny about half of the time at least.. 18 is a winner.. Also i noticed that quite often the tickets that have 1 off numbers. Multiple times usually are followed by a winner. Im playing too much LOL

The kids in MIT did this years ago. Bought 3 whole rolls of scratchoffs. Spent all that time scratching. And in the end made most of their money back. Didnt break even.

I have only tried a few $50 tickets but haven't had very good luck with them. What state are you getting these tickets in? I get most of mine in Mas. but some in Nh. Good luck with your full book, I never bought one. Thought about it but never pulled the trigger. OK, I see your Texas. I don't like your $50 tickets either. I bought 5 consecutive Mas. $50 tickets and got skunked. I normally do better with $10 or $20 tickets. We have some $30s now that weren't bad

Seems like I am luckier when I purchase a smaller amount of lotto on a feeling/whim. When I put $20-30.00 worth of quick picks just to increase my odds but didn't go on a feeling none of them won.
