I picked up a furnace blower for cheap one day. I just decided it was time to put it to good use! here is my quick video on my air cleaner build. My lungs are gonna love this thing!

I'm in the process of building an air cleaner. My motor is a 3 speed. To control the speed ( I plan to have high and low only) I picked up a 3 way 30 amp light switch at Lowes. I'll have power coming in the switch and then one wire to each of the 2 speeds. The position of the switch will control the speed. I haven't wired it up yet but that's the plan. Cheap way to control the speed!

1bobvideo Such a good idea. I wanted a timer switch though. I suppose that could be put inline with the three way switch.

I will probably run mine while I'm working and turn it off after I finish my work. I have a 2 way light switch to turn it on and off. I would imagine the timer could go before or after the 2 way switch, depending on how you wanted it....or without the 2 way at all. It would definitely be before the 3 way switch.
