Freakin' Reviews - I still love this video and I still want to know if you ever opt to do a portable washer/dryer. I can’t imagine you needing one, but I can’t imagine you needing a portable A/C either but I would love to see your reviews for either of those things.
That said, I really appreciate all your reviews because I wag them in my moms face when I see her making questionable purchases.

That steering wheel tray. It's advised to rotate your wheel so the large open space, on top in your vid, is at the bottom, It fits better and more secure.
I have this tray and it works fine with the wheel in either position in my '17 Camry. An adjustment in the wheel tilt could help in his case. The tray comes in two sizes, this one and mine are large. Using this, expect to make some seat adjustments.
You'll get better mileage from the steering wheel tray if you lock the steering wheel before applying it. In most cars, it's just a matter of turning off the engine. If you are fine with running the battery for climate control and radio while you are eating (should not be for a long time as car batteries tend to drain pretty fast), the steering wheel should remain locked while the engine isn't running.
That was the first thing I thought of and it honestly annoyed me a bit that he didn't lock the wheel

Idk how it is in the fusion, but 17 mustangs have electronic wheel lock won't turn on until the key is outside the car

yeah that is what I was thinking but maybe the car wasn't turned off to lock the wheel

My guess is he either didn’t have the car off and in park, or he didn’t trigger the locking mechanism by turning the steering wheel until it clicked into place.
Ps. He could move 2 lb soda to the center of the tray/platform. He just seemed a little biased on this one- acting like one of those "as seen on tv" incapable people. Also, need something for passenger side.
I used a neck wallet when I traveled in Italy. It was a little awkward, but I felt more secure with my valuables tucked in it. I'm in SoCal, about 5-10 minutes from Garden Grove where you were staying. And Del Taco is the best! Love their crinkle cut fries and chicken soft tacos!

I use the car tray all the time. We get so much use out of them that they are in each car. With the pandemic and eating in the car so much more they have been great, but I've had mine for probably 10 years. My cars have cup holders, so I don't use the cup holder on the tray. I also adjust the steering wheel to get the tray in the best position. I know this is an old video, but I really like the tray.

I had something similar to the neck wallet when I was on a trip to Europe. It was Winter, and I was wearing several layers, so it wasn't noticeable at all. I found it to be very useful

I like the neck wallet. Great for going into the city. Easier that the cross bag because it’s closer and less noticeable. New York great place to be but the city can be where you want to be cautious. Steering wheel tray seems a bit cumbersome....will try the travel pillow. Always looking for a comfy one, had the my pillow regular size and really not a fan. Thanks for the reviews....😊

Ah the neck wallet, I remember my dad having one of those back in the 90's. But his had a velcro seal and would fold open to reveal a bunch of smaller slots for easy access to cards etc.
The tray on the steering wheel would work perfectly when I’m rolling sum Fat blunts in the car 😁
Thanks for reviewing Add-a-Rest pillow. I hadn't seen it & look forward to trying it. I'm 5"4" so all car, train, plane & many office desk chairs (built for taller folks) tilt my head forward. This looks like it'll fix that & the velcro will keep it there.
The Neck Wallet idea has been around for a long time. We used a similar item while traveling in England in 2005. We kept our passports and credits in it. I wore my version under my clothes, too. It worked great! I did not carry a purse at all. I just used my neck wallet and a contoured backpack to carry my personal items.
That neck wallet lol! There's no words for that level of awkward when you start trying to yank it out of the neck of your T-shirt. 😂
Not to mention that I've seen someone do a sort of "bump and cut" with an accomplice who scooped it off the ground after the neck loop was cut... I'd want one with a wire in it, of course I still wouldn't use it on the grounds that if someone wants to choke me to death then they'll have to bring they're own garrotte.

My van has a locking steering wheel. I think that would be an ideal feature with the car tray. It would eliminate the problem of it swaying back and forth like that.

Neck wallet: useful for longer distance or air travel. It would get the hard lump of a wallet out of your back pocket so you're not sitting on it for an extended period of time. Good for keeping your ID and passport at hand when in a foreign country. I would keep a little spending cash and -maybe- one credit card in my FRONT pants pocket for easy access and keep the wallet hidden under my clothes. When you need more cash, go to a restroom where you can access the wallet in private.
Steering wheel tray: turn the vehicle off and lock the wheel to prevent tipping.
One nice thing about the neck wallet is that you'd never lose it. No forgetting to put it back in your pocket. Also, bring back fanny packs! ;-)
Or just _real_ pockets in women's pants. ;)

Just prop your knee against the wheel and use both hands to eat. Easy enough to do on long stretches of highway, or in stop-n-go traffic. ;)
So the tray table is probably gonna be best for if your steering wheel is locked and can't really jiggle. I personally think it's pointless.
The neck wallet, decent idea if you go on a cruise or go overseas, but just pack your essentials and not the entire contents of your wallet. If I'm going on a road trip and want to slim down I have a neck wallet/event badge holder I got at GenCon in 2017. I think something like that would be ideal if you don't want your full wallet. Sure it won't hold your phone or passport, but you can have your access badge for an event, cash, a few cards, and you're good to go, streamlined and ready.
The pillows, I'm the opposite of you, I want a big but firm pillow. Like at the start you showed 4 huge puffed up pillows on the bed, I'd want at least two of them, maybe a third just for my head, and a fourth for between my knees.
The Add-A-Rest I might be interested in trying but I think it wouldn't be for me while driving. I don't rest my head back on the headrest really. That might be a, "I'm taking a nap in my car" product.
Dash Cam is 10/10, if you decide to revisit dash cams in the future potentially look into getting a set where you have seperate front and rear cameras. It'll be a little bit of work to snake the wire from the front of the car to the rear windshield, but having a clearer and closer view of the rear of your car if you need to review footage would be highly beneficial I think.
The mug is a cup, I have zero opinions on cups as long as they hold my liquids and let me drink them.

You keep neck inside and have small amount in pocket. Think of walking in Columbia. Pulling out money would advertise not protect. Also push seat back so larger items can fit on table!

I recognize that Chevron, it's out in Hesperia. That was always a stop we made when I went out dirt biking in Apple Valley as a kid. I think the steering wheel tray may have worked a bit better if the wheel was locked, but still, the hooks need to be reconfigured for me to really trust that the thing won't just fall off onto my lap.

When using the steering wheel Trae and you have that bigger open spot at the top, turn your steering wheel around to where the top is at the bottom and you have more of an open space for the tray

I used a neck wallet and a smaller one that you have sort of inside your trousers, hooked on the waist. Smidge difficult to explain, but I spent a weekend in Rome and didn't get pickpocketed. So I am satisfied with those products.

Hey James, I like thin pillows too. Do you have a recommendation for a nice thin home pillow? Travel pillows look a little too small.
I am in a wheelchair and I use neck wallets all the time. For me it is very convenient to use a neck wallet because in a wheelchair it is very difficult and inconvenient to use a typical wallet you would stick in your pocket. The neck wallet I use is the “ody travel gear neck wallet” and this travel wallet is RFID blocking technology as well but you do not need the card sleeves, it is sewn into the material.
I've got a really good "neck wallet".
It's designed to be used in conjunction with your normal wallet. So to hold your passport or ID, and some additional cash. Comes with a waist strap too, so it doesn't flap around.
It's designed so your day to day, less important stuff stays in easy reach in your normal wallet. Your important stuff is hidden, but accessible if required.
I'd recommend the Thermarest compressible pillow, it comes in four different sizes too.
I've used a different brand of the travel wallet (a much longer strap) as a cross body bag for shopping, work. It has the credit card slots, phone pocket, money pocket and the flap that hides the driver's license, it's really handy to get to. The tray looks handy and I do have an ASUS small laptop. The pillow on the headrest looks like it pushes your head forward, not sure how comfortable that is.

The steering wheel tray……mine came with instructions.
1. rotate your steering wheel so that the part without the middle column is on the bottom then the tray fits on really easily
2. remember to lock your steering wheel!
3. Don’t drive with it on it’s only for stopping and eating or working
I bought it for the pandemic because I couldn’t eat inside the restaurant. I must say I really love that thing.

Another great review... as for the steering wheel tray. You would need to shut off your vehicle to get the wheel to lock. I understand the heat of AZ and CA Wouldnt allow for that. But other climates probably pretty well.

OMG The neck wallet reminds me of when I was in the USN many moons ago. We had to wear our ID and our money around our necks. It was a navy blue (of course) plastic pouch with a snap suspended on a chain. We had to tuck it into our bras! It was sharp and sweaty. LMAOOOOO

About the wallet. Reminds me of my old Italian Aunt...she use to have a small cloth purse she stuck down in...and when it was time to pay, out it came, just like the wallet...of course, this was not the credit card/phone version, but that is what it reminded me of. Ive used a body wallet when travelling. Its the sort of thing you use to carry valuables you don't need all the time. So id put some cash in my pockets but carry the bulk of it in the body wallet. Mine was designed to go around your waist.

Cars have easily reachable cup holder is that spot maybe meant to accommodate sauce packets of varied shapes and sizes...like it's a well to make it difficult to flip out over accidentally and a larger area and different shape the sauces usually are but it would make it easy to accommodate most companys sauce containers (i.e. chick fil a has shallow but slightly wide and long rectangles but like burger kings are taller but narrow)
I'm looking for a table tray for our van for the kids to eat and drink. I like the steering wheel tray.
I've seen other channels that said to lock the steering wheel first, not sure if that was there step.

In Japan you can actually find neck wallets as fashion accessories. When I was a kid my mom got me a totoro neck wallet thinking it was a crossbody purse but it was to small to cross my body

Used a neck wallet for overseas, they where a required item for the group I went with. They don't need to be hidden, the main thing is to prevent someone bumping into you and steeling your wallet. No issues with theft and got use to wearing it without any issues for the trip.

No dell taco here but get it whenever I visit my sister in Vegas. Try locking your steering wheel first. Also, the neck wallet is good for road trips because, for men, sitting on your wallet is not food for your back, especially during long road trips.

Hey, You should try that weird Turtle pillow for traveling. Its like a neck brace that you strap around your neck. I personally have issues with my head going too far over, etc while sleeping in a car/plane. I bought that pillow in hopes of getting some decent shut-eye. (Also, Review foot hammocks for the plane. 100% game changer for people with short legs/uncomfortable knee angles) With a combination of the hammock and this weird strangulation device of a pillow, I was able to sleep a solid 8 hours on both flights with no waking up, no weird neck pain, etc. It was a life-changing combination of weird products.

Nice...the car tray is pretty useful BUT I would like it more if it folded, otherwise, you have this huge tray inside your car even when you're not using it. That wearable wallet is great for traveling, even at a Las Vegas concert people "bumping" into you, you never know who's picking your pockets or scanning your cards.
If the car tray isn't too thick, it might fit down in between the seat and console.
