@TruthSeeker23099 imagine how surprised the viewers would be when watching an intense fighting scene, where Ichigo is almost getting crushed, and he just goes "bakkudō 81 - danku!" Or something 😎
I still very much love it. It seems so simple and kind of repetitive on the surface. But scratch and dig a bit and it becomes a whole new story. Of how similar situations change with different choices. Of how sacrifice from a few people can change the world for the better and worse at the same time. Of how power and intelligence can isolate and corrupt or push someone towards kindness and understanding.
Early days of bleach were so much different. It was more down to earth, power scaling was still uncertain, everything about the way the worls worked in bleach was covered in mysticism. The events and fights had more weight. The animation and the soundtrack reflected it. In my opinion, it lost a lot of it. Or i just got old.
Nah you're right. That was part of its allure, the uncertainty. As a friend of mine quipped, it later turned into the characters saying "I have the bigger penis!" "No...I have the bigger penis!"
@@meimei117 In my opinion it went down the drain the moment Aizen went and said, I can just ignore your ability cause I have more spirit points. By that point any smart plan made by the characters could be nullified by Tubo just going naha and thats it.
Eventually, the mystery overtones lessen naturally as we learn more about the world. But it did introduce new concepts well. It didn't reveal everything about the vizards right away, we learned about the hollow world at the same pace as the characters. Xcution arc was good too. Even a show like gravity falls had it's mystery lessen after Standford came back. As to the fights having more weight, well we didn't have the captains yet so there weren't so many battlefields to divide out focus. Right up to the end of the soul society rescue, ichigo's fights were the only ones that mattered.
All anime like this feels like that. Look at Naruto, it started off as some goofy kids running around doing ninja stuff. Ends with world ending power as two Demi-Gods try and erase each other from existence.

physically for sure but I doubt his Bankai is a broken as Urahara's (minor spoiler). But base to basse Isshin has it by far. shikai to shikai I might give it to Urahara due to versatility but it's a brutally hard fight for either of them. and while we never saw Isshin's bankai, bankai to bankai it's almost no contest because Urahara's bankai is so stupid
@@Metalhammer1993 yeah that’s true. I think it would come down to whether ishhin could end it in Shikai, but urahara would probably go straight Bankai to avoid that happening. I'm not up on the hierarchy of the Soul Society, but IIRC, wasn't Ishiin basically a lieutenant before he left to marry Ichigo's mom? So he's the equivalent of a middle manager in the SS. But then again, if he's anything like his son, he probably didn't want to rise up in the ranks because that would mean more work for him. So that could mean he was masking how powerful he was as either some kind of tactic to lull his enemies into a false sense of security, or simply because he likes where he is and doesn't want to move up in the ranks.
He was captian in ss but he kind of fall in love so urahara make that gig or something so it suppress his power and Yeh he also belong one of the noble family (acc. To me)
Just imagine how ridiculously powerful Ichigo would be if he learned how to use kidō?
bet his byakurai (hado 4) would be as big as if not bigger than byakuya's
Not his style
In theory Ichigo could potentially do everything. Kubo balanced him by making him use just getsuga tenshou 😂

There's still a lot that's unknown about Bleach's world, its only problem is standard shonen power creep.
