For some strange reason, I don't think SHE broke up with him because they GREW APART and it just wasn't working anymore. I think Nelly started feeling some kinda a way about the relationship when he hooked back up with Ashanti. Old feelings were rekindled, then Nelly felt like Ashanti was truly his soul mate. They have years of history today and gf knew she couldn't compete with that. That's just my thoughts on this subject.
