If Dalmi ends up with Dosan as predicted, what a wasted opportunity in making this drama memorable for viewers who looked forward to seeing a first love (from a unique source - love letters) blooming into a mature romance and a good man deserving happiness!
I’m still so confused why the writers would make this show mostly about him and his letters and protecting her for those two to hardly even spend any on screen time together. (If they had actually bonded and spent more time together I think this would’ve been more heartbreaking and realistic) I feel like this whole show is nothing but a disappointment but kept watching for our Good Boy hoping he’d get a happy ending. He deserves better. And at this point she’s not even good enough for him. She can’t even make up her mind about what she wants. sigh oh well. It’s the perfect song and love the transitions :)
If you rewatch some parts, you will see she’s always there for him, understands and appreciates him as he is. She cares about him a lot, inviting him to dinners and buying foods for him. I think she just needs time to figure out in the last two episodes :)

Of course I appreciate that she understands his harshness that he’s saying those things to help them while everyone else gets butt hurt about it. But it’s like she totally forgot about being in love with him for most of her life and only focusing on Do San... she spends all this time considering her feelings for Do San but I haven’t seen her spend any time considering Ji-pyeong (though it was nice she was about to call him when things went bad in the last episode but then Do San ruins what could have been a good bonding) 🙄 And unfortunately I will never go back and rewatch any of the show, I would have dropped it a long time ago if it wasn’t for our Good Boy keeping me interested in his well being 😅
Some knetz share the writers change the story bcs they didn't want to create another "Cinderella" story 😩 that why they push dodal story so much. Make this drama bcm out from the start story. They make big holes about the startup and the meaning of the letter

I also can't understand how the basic of everyone relationships, "the letters" , just turned into dust. Not talked about ever again. So weird. Dal Mi got emotional support for 15 years from these letters and never forgot about them and all of a sudden they seem to have never existed. A major plot fail, in my opinion. I'm so emotionally invested in Ji Pyeong's character, that it's painful for me to watch this drama XD I can't seem to enjoy the rest of the drama. I just want Ji Pyeong to be happy in the end. That's all I wish for. Tbh... Dal Mi's and Ji Pyeong's story just has so much potential, that it's hard not to ship them. But I know they won't be end game.... so why Yeongsil?? Yeongsil, why did u give Ji Pyeong and us hope? XD He's not gonna hit a home run, we all know that T-T Even if I'm going to be heartbroken in the end, I won't regret watching this drama. Han Ji Pyeong really stole the show and my heart XD He's such a well-written character and his development is A+. All I could wish in a character, he has it. Kim Seon Ho really owned this drama ;)
I have never seen a drama where the second lead looks like the story was written for him. HJP acting was excellent, love all his scenes with Miss Choi. They are funny, witty and so dramatic. Miss Choi for me is the best actress of all time.
Spoiler -> . . . And even worse, at the end they made Ji-pyeong say that it was like he wasn't the guy from the letters, bc he didn't fight for Dalmi like Do-san. I mean... they ignored the relationship and support Ji-pyeong and Dalmi provided to each other throughout tough years. I'm just sad for him...

I watched Pino*chio just before Start Up, a drama by the same writer (my favorite writer btw, love all her dramas so much, so many genius characters and quotes and her dramas are mostly so satisfying to watch because every story element is solved so well) and I can't help but see parallels between them and the second lead&main girl of Pino*chio. She writes him messages since she was a child, without knowing he's the one who gets them. My heart already got broken then, I think it will be even more broken with Start Up

NOW DALMI doesnt get angry , but says its okay and ADDS BY SAYING THAT RELATIONSHIP WAS OVER 3YRS AGO. WHY did she say that explicitly yo HJP when she knows clearly that might give some hope to HJP since he has feelings for her... :)... do HJP have a chance or it just poor writing..
I think there has been poor writing all along. This could have been a very epic love triangle, but they have neutered HJP too many times. Three years later and he is still calling her Ms. Seo? They should have been married by now. But the story doesn't exist without Do-San, I guess.

Coulda/woulda/shoulda been great...but wasn't, due to incompetent scripting and production. I've come to expect this kinda bs from American tv, but it's the first time I've been so terribly disappointed by a Korean show.
I really hate this drama .Han ji-pyeong is the only true character in this show and yet, somehow he is the only one that is being thrown in the trash. Running from place to place. Coulda/woulda/shoulda been great...but wasn't, due to incompetent scripting and production. I've come to expect this kinda bs from American tv, but it's the first time I've been so terribly disappointed by a Korean show.
I really hate this drama .Han ji-pyeong is the only true character in this show and yet, somehow he is the only one that is being thrown in the trash. Running from place to place. Only for people not even acknowledging all the things he did to keep them standing. I mean why ? Why? Why does he have to struggle non stop for 16 episode 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️. I really really hate this drama.
I stopped watching this drama after dalmi reunited with dosan. Gave a thumbs down for the episode. Moved on. Dosan and dalmi?? Seriously!! 🤦♀️🤷♀️
