Steve Carell's ability to keep a straight face is unprecedented
It’s actually unbelievable!
Leslie Nielson for me is ghetto best ever, but Carrell is incredible at keeping it together
Fun fact: several of the actors were also writers on the show. This episode was written by the guy who plays Ryan, the temp.
Someone told us that! That’s so cool
Later in the series a few even direct a few episodes
B.J. Novak (Ryan) and Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor)served as writers, directors, and executive producers.

"Aww man, am I a woman!?" is my favorite line. lol
That sent me 😂 I was not expecting that!
I can't wait. The Jim and Dwight relationship is gonna have you lads in stitches. My favorite part of the show.
We loved their episode, hilarious!
One of the most underrated lines in this show, and my personal favorite, is "Diversity Tomorrow- Because today is almost over".
So many reactors struggle 2 get the office passed youtube copyright. Alot of channels finished the office so it's possible. Hopefully you finish this amazing journey.
We are doing our best 😀
"I can't remember the last time I've ever seen an episode of anything this offensive."
You haven't seen It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia, have you? 😅😂
Nope lol, added it to our list! Appreciate the comment, thank you
lol “this is a car crash” is the most accurate statement to describe this show😂
Mindy Kaling is a main writer and exec producer, and great friends with BJ Novak, who plays the other intern. She plays Kelly Kapoor who slapped Carrell and wrote a lot of the jokes in this.
Thanks for the info! 😀
Didn't her & Novak get married or something?
@@rojeliocastro9733
they were on and off irl (which they actually decided to try and recreate in the show, though exaggerated of course lol) but Mindy is married with kids and still good friends with Novak😊
Mindy isn't married but does have 2 children. Father's identity has never been revealed
I’m so envy you all for getting to experience the office for the first time. But I am a horrified for you both that you only get to watch one episode a week.😂
Haha we are loving the journey so far! Well we have 2 episodes a week going out on Patreon so that makes things easier 😂
We Americans usually ruin any British show we remake, but this is the one instance where I think the American version is actually better.
The guy who plays Mr. Brown, the diversity trainer, is Larry Wilmore. He's a brilliant comedian and comedy writer in the U.S. He was on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and for a while hosted a spinoff called The Nightly Show. Super funny guy.
He was great in the episode!
Steve Carell did not watch the original, because he didn't want to be influenced in any way by the original character, he wanted to make his own version of it.
This is an iconic episode. Some others are "The Gay Witch Hunt", "The Dinner Party" and "Scotts Tots".
Can't wait!
One of the greatest comedic shows in history! They pushed the boundaries and it payed off in such amazing ways. I wish we could have more shows like this but people have become waaaaaay too sensitive. Even some of the original writers have expressed regret. Unbelievable! I guess some people can't understand satire and take things way to literally and seriously. One reason we can't have nice things anymore.
Hello to all baseball fans (Phillies fans, more specificall😉) currently in London.
Ive been seeing photos, comments and articles about the wave of red-attired fans roaming the streets of London.
The comments made by the Americans who travelled there for the game are very positive about the food, the people, and transportation.
Go Phillies!!!
@@christinec7892 Just finished watching. Had to record it bc of work. Great game!!!
Watching y’all laugh so much makes my day. You guys are hilarious.
Thank you, really appreciate the support!
good reaction the edit with the clips is well done
Thank you!
I love every season. But the show really takes off in season 2. I really enjoy your reactions. Some reactors get so offended and butt hurt. So stupid. Its one of the funniest shows of all time. Thanks to Ricky Gervais for the Original. But I am partial to The American one. You have so many laughs to look forward to. 😊
We are definitely aware of how offensive it can be but also recognise the comedic genius of Steve Carrel! Glad you enjoy it 🙏🏼
If yall want some insight, from what i understand the first season is entirely a American shot for shot remake of the first UK season, but season 2 they get their own creative license
It’s not exactly the same, we’ve finished season 1 on Patreon and there are quite a lot of differences but definitely a lot of similarities!
Please keep doing these reactions to The Office, I love it.
This episode is iconic! My absolute favorite
BJ Novak (who plays Ryan) wrote this episode when he was 25. 🤯
When you said you haven’t seen anything this offensive in a long time, give It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia a try. Still making episodes and it makes this show look like The Brady Bunch. 😂
I need this everyday 😂😂
It’s incredible 😂 we are doing 2 a week on Patreon!
Season 3 is my favorite thanks for reacting to one of my favorite shows
You’re very welcome!
One of the craziest most hysterical episodes of American TV 😂❤
Whats crazy is that this show wasn't considered edgy at all. This is known as a wholesome family friendly show.
The approved prevailing culture has just become so sensitive that this retroactively comes off as edgy.
Obviously, the joke is that it is ridiculously offensive, but lots of ppl don't even want jokes about being offensive to be made anymore.
Love you guys! I came for the office….stayed for the accents 😆😍
I can’t wait til you get to season 2. But the show keeps getting better n better so, enjoy 🥳
Thank you so much! We are on season 2 on Patreon! 2 releases per week on there 😀 appreciate the love 🙏🏼
It was a good day if you've been there. NOW arguably stupid and insane? Sure. But still a good day
Basically the entire cast responsible for the writing, and half the characters are Boston-area natives. We're blessed with the funniest people on the planet.
"That is an insane guy." Bingo.
"I don't know the last time I've watched such an offensive episode of anything." Let me tell you guys about a little show called Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia S1E1 is titled "The gang gets Racist"
love the reaction guys😂😂😂
The first season was basically the first season of the British Office. Then after that it became their own.
Everyone has a hero in their heart
NBC had a lot of great sitcoms at that time period.
Drop me some gems!
Friday Nights Lights ( which I know you guys are reacting to) was an NBC show as was Friends, Will and Grace and Fraiser.
Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, Office, Seinfeld and Friends had ended a few years prior or to those three. Those to be the three big ones can recall. Parks and Rec would probably be my favorite. NBC was on fire around that time. LOL
@@creed5157 I second Parks and Recreation and 30 Rock.
"Welcome to my convenience store!" Gets me every time.
Horrendous 😂😂
What’s hilarious is that there is an Indian version of the office on hulu 😂😂
Absolutely loved y'alls reactions to this episode. Just wait, it can get more offensive and cringier from here on out. Still very funny!
Appreciate it 🙏🏼
Writing a script knowing Carell would deliver the bit spot on and add his own genius seamlessly on top would have to inspire someone to really go for it…having that tool in the bag playing off those other very believable “office looking” characters mostly playing it straight could set up almost any scenario you like and kill…and it absolutely did every time…reviewing them here brings back so much. I’m thinking of several future omg episodes that really pushed the “comedy is” limits off the chart.
NBC aired some marathon of The Office, last year or so, and they didn't play Diversity Day... I still find that extremely sad. If we can't laugh at ourselves then where are we even headed...
The fact that stanley got the "black" card was just too good
Hilarious!
Can’t wait to see this one!
Enjoy!!
This was the episode that hooked me into the show.
Looking forward to your Office adventure!
Did you two go to the game today or going tomorrow??
Hope you two are doing great!!
Goshhh, how I miss the dark humor in modern TV series and films. I love this version of the Office, it looks especially fresh in our realities.
I'm here for the journey! Yal will have my likes!
this is one of the episodes of the entire series
Ok that was a superb and really fun reaction
If you think that was offensive, check out Archie Bunker & the Jefferson’s from the 70’s.
This is one of the all time great episodes. Groundbreaking in my opinion.
Awwwww man you cut out so many of the best jokes.
Tenn down 6-5 in the 6th 😮
Loose forces a game 3 tomorrow. A win and they advance to the college world series.
Just to be fair - only the first episode is a "copy" of a British episode. All of the rest are unique US episodes. BTW Episode 3 has some of the funniest laughs in the entire series for me.
Come on guys ! Do more episodes already !😂
2 a week on Patreon, we have plenty to do on top of our full time jobs and family. No way we can do more at this point
Dwight is my fav he plays that character to a T!!!
Awesome, I'm down for your reactions to this legendary show 🇺🇲
Welcome aboard! 🤝🏻
Cookie cookie😂😂😂
Office has the most offensive episode you've seen in recent memory?
Wait till you cross paths with something like South Park or It's Always Sunny just to name a few lol
Yes, I haven’t seen South Park in about 10 years 😂
@@DNReacts ahaha they definitely have pushed the limits of offensiveness since then. Love the channel guys. Lots of varied quality content besides just the sports reactions 💪🏻
Definitely for SP. Especially the Scientology episode one where Tom Cruise comes out of the closet. Considering the “religion” hired people to spy on them and tried to sue them to stop the episode.
The creative team realized if they didn't make Michael more empathetic, the show might be brilliant but short lived. The real Michael Scott doesn't appear until season 2. I LOVE season 1 Michael Scott, but I understand the writers tweaking the character.
The office is the best show in the world😂😂😂
I’ll second that 🥳
We love it!
more officeeee
This episode could not be done today. There would be too much of an uproar from the crazies who are oblivious to comedy. Thanks for the video & God bless!
Incredible!
This is absurdly hilarious. It's a sitcom with no "Laff Trak", an editing 'trick' I hate. If you need to tell your audience what's funny with sound prompts, it probably can't stand on its own merits.
Best Show
MOREEEEEEE
multiple office episodes a day???
u guys have 100s so might as well go crazy
We wish we could! We both have full time jobs and the recording and editing takes up a lot of time. We are releasing 2 a week on our Patreon though
@@DNReacts love y’all
i feel like if you arent comfortable joking about race, then you arent comfortable with other races.
Could yall react to psc highlights new video top 100 plays of 2023 college football season
ok im chronically online, but i dont think the office would be "cancelled if it came out today" like everyone says. as a minority, the whole point of michaels character is to be ignorant and offensive in his humour which adds to the awkward humour of the whole show. Michael is supposed to be wrong lmao
Not true. Some episodes of Always Sunny, The Office, and South Park have all been removed from streaming for being "too offensive". The entire premise of those shows are supposed to be satirical yet cancel culture or work culture wherever you want to refer to it as has changed entertainment completely.
@@JK-tw3ne Ya but thats my point it shouldnt b bc thats the whole point of michael and some of the other characters, is that they're ignorant
One of the few shows I just hate 100%.
Ok.. thanks for the comment though 🤝🏻
My goodness, could you be any more afraid someone could think you support this???
I’ve said it before and I have to say it again… The Office is the greatest show ever.
