Hi Randy, I've just found your channel & as a fairly new Create Studio user, I'm on a steep learning curve - and your videos are proving invaluable. I've created my own version of Tom to look like me, which he does, except for the fact that my body type is more like Patrick. I can't see any options for the more rotund (sorry Patrick) figure. Can you point me in the right direction please?
Welcome Andy to the channel. The 3D creator characters (Tom, Lanka, Danny) are recent additions to Create Studio, and they have the ability to change appearance, lip-sync, and rotate. There are older 3D characters which are available but lack the 3 abilities mentioned earlier. Patrick is one of these older characters, and as such his appearance can't be changed. Create Studio will continue to add more 3D creator characters and someday that will include different body types. The older characters can be found in the studio (Jet icon) on the Characters button. BTW, Patrick says he is in shape - since round is a shape.
Hey Randy, Such helpful and entertaining videos. Thank you so much for all the work and effort you put into those videos. I would like to create speach bubbles over my characters. I am struggling to add the text to the bubbles. Is there any chance that you are already having a nice video for this step and I just didn't find it?
Rine, I am glad to hear the videos have been helpful. I don't have a tutorial on the speech bubbles, but Create Studio has several text bubble assets you may find helpful. Click on the studio icon (the spaceship) and in the search type in text bubble. If you list presents characters with text bubbles, those are a template CS has built. If you drag them onto the timeline, and click on the group track there will be a text box where you can change the message. You can then open the group to see how CS built it and change things like background or character. I hope this helps. Have a good day and happy creating.
