CreateStudio:Everything You Need to Know About Characters (Tutorial)

- Check out CS3 here: aff.vidello.com/37289/146541. There are so many different types and styles of characters in CreateStudio 3. And if you're new to CS, or just haven't used the characters too much, here is a review of the basics of what you want to know to get started!
What characters are there?
How are 3D Characters different than 3D Character Creator characters?

Hi there, the video tutorial is so amazing. I just subscribed. I'm new to this software, I used canva before, but I find it hard when it comes to characters actions. Love how you teaching on all of your tutorials, thanks for the laugh on this video, it helps rid away the stress while learning 😂... 👍
It definitely is different than canva (and do love canva!).

Thank you for your videos! Do you have any tips on making a character hold/pick up an object?
That’s a tough one. They are limited to the actions they have. Some are holding an item (would have to look, but remember as making this video the start up team characters had some). You might be able to put an image over and animate (maybe loop / thinking like bobblehads). But, won’t be perfect.
Or play with camera and sound effects, and create illusion.
Actually. Who recently posted a warehouse scene….hey, as typed came to mind. Jenn Jager created a warehouse scene in her recent review of CS3. That might give ideas

Other than the 3d Creator characters, is there a way to use the regular character action to have them walking forward? i.e. Position and scale has the character in the background waking towards the screen and getting larger as they walk forward since they can only walk left or right. I love your voice by the way. Very soothing and welcoming.
Not really - sometimes (rarely) you may be able to change perspective of a character (I have done with rotation; but haven't tried since with the distortion tool, so not sure if that would work). But it never really looks great. It's something that will be so much more versatile as the new characters are loaded in

I have another question. Do you know of any undocumented keyboard shortcut? An example would be rotating a 3d character to that it stays on its axis when rotation. The way I've found to do it is to put your mouse at the bottom or top of the box surrounding the character the keep your mouse on the line as you go left or right.
I don't know of any BUT what a great idea. You should send that in as a feature request on their support page! I always mess up the rotation - and I'm going to try your tip. I think I may be sloppy, and tend to go towards the center of the character when rotating. Your way makes so much sense! thanks!
I wished they offered a free trial before we buy it. I'm very very interested, but like to be able to test drive it before I buy. Do they offer a trial version? Also the short-cuts they have, is the short-cuts for Windows PC or MAC? Thanks
They do offer 30 day money back. And they are very honest, and you ask, you get. No questions or trying to delay
The shortcuts are for mac ad windows - i just use on a Mac. So command + G (group) would be equivalent on windows (control + G i think?). They also have a tab in app that has a bunch of shortcuts available. But app fully functional on both operating systems :)

I highly recommend (probably obvious 🙃). But if you’re that interested, give the 30 days a shot. I’ve “known” this team since May 2020. And I am skeptical of everyone. They are trustworthy to their word 😊
OK thanks can a person make different size videos with it like, TikTok, instagram videos, I think like size 9:16 etc or does it just make wide screen videos?

Back in version 1 I used to purchase characters and think it was ore per character, so some of the packs may be just what you're looking for to add to your app :)

Is there a way to create a girl character, just like Danny that we can edit. In the Studio, there is a character called, Ester. We would like to change her features, like hair, etc. Is there a way to do this?

How do I stop my 3 d character from rotating to the left or right once the walking animation has finished ? As my character walks on but then stops and turns Thank You
You need to disable end, or start, or both (depending on what effect you want). Characters always return to idle for transition to next action (360 characters, you can turn off transition for that).
If not sure, I show this in many tutorials. But do know in my scrollstopper one a few days ago I show all 3 of those if that helps.
