If they're not prepared properly for it they just might. A lot comes into play and the results really show

Looking good & great reminder. Spell check your title 😊William do you invert your entrance reducers? If I don't the bee drop plugs up the entrances. And how was your hunt?

Aw thanks haha had it right everywhere else 😆 I don't but ill sweep them out occasionally with a piece of wire. Hunts always good to be in the woods. Hope your staying warm

That looks mighty cold. Still got bees flying in SW Florida. It is above 70 degrees still.

That sounds so much better than 30 degrees. I already miss the warm days. Do bees ever stop flying in Florida?

@@BlanchardsBees Only if it gets down below 40 degrees. It doesn't happen very often( at least this far south Ft Myers area) and it only puts them in the hive for maybe 3 days and then it gets warm and they fly again. Downside is it stops raining generally around October 1 and no rain means no blooms and hungry bees. So feeding is pretty important and I don't open my hives in the long dearth, they get really protective over limited resources. There are so many wild hives there is enormous competition.

@joeyl.rowland4153 they do get grumpy during dearth don't they. That makes sense I'd rather not open mine during that time either. You are way down there. I have friends in Tampa and have done work in Palatka almost ten years ago. With this cool weather setting in another visit doesn't sound to bad.
