I bought this unit for my shop a couple of years ago. I was very disappointed with the build quality.

Press will not hold pressure. has no problem climbing to pressure but it starts to drop immediately and back to zero within a few seconds. I like the press but have absolutely no dwell time and can't figure out why? Press is brand new

Possibly some damaged seal (O ring) or "stuck" valve. I have one of this for years. Truth be told, the gauge stopped working on it's third use!! Anyway the rest never missed a beat. ;-)
Only issue worth mention for almost ALL ball bearing jobs on vehicles... The pressure is not enough to release the old bearing! I should have got the 20 ton model.
So usually goes like this: 6.5kg sledge hammer to remove old bearings! On the third or fourth hit, it release the old bearing. From then on, usually, everything can be done on the press! New bearing stays in the freezer for some hours, making it way easier for the press.

I bought this and the metal plates were missing. It looks like they broke out of the box and got lost. I followed the instructions in the box to request replacement plates. This was over a year ago and they never arrived. They seemed to ignore it. If anything is wrong or there are missing parts, don't deal with the manufacture - just return the item to the store!
