So does the brake controller stay powered all the time? With the car off my is illuminated, I don't plan to leave it connected but just curious if it will cycle off after a few minutes like when you lock the doors?

Have you heard of this issue Im having. As soon as I plug the trailer in the brakes on the trailer lock up. Didnt have this issue with my Dodge Durango or F150 while towing. Any suggestions??? Thank you
I want to ask you something that has nothing to do with this topic cause I couldn't find it on your page. You did a ThinkPad upgrade with memory stick and motherboard. My question s do you have a video that shows how to boot up the computer to work.
Thanks for doing this. I found the rewiring conversation online but I wasn’t quite getting it. you made it very easy to understand. I have a 2013 Range Rover and I had to do the rewire and it works great!
I saw a video from England and I think this is the same setup on the new defenders. The wiring harness looks exactly the same. Might have to rip out the cover on mine this weekend and check it out! 😂
Yeah they are pretty similar which is great. With the setup I used, I plugged it in without swapping the pin and got no power, then just swapped the pin and it worked.

That means the wiring is applying 12v to the brake line instead of the running lights. You’ll need to pin swap the connector
