My favorite decluttering quotes that have helped me so much! : “If you’re not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You’re not going to start using it more by shoving it in a closet somewhere.” “Getting rid of perfectly good items may seem wasteful, but that’s not where we went wrong. It was wasteful to purchase it. Now we are just acknowledging it.” “When we really delve into the reasons for why we can’t let something go, there are only two: an attachment to the past or a fear of the future.” “Remember that the money you spent on your item is gone. You are not any richer if you store this item and you won’t be any poorer if you let it go.”
I love these as well. I learned #2 when Dawn Madsen was sitting in her bathroom floor going through old hair and beauty products. She said something similar to what you wrote above and the light came on for me 💡‼️ At that moment I realized that the money is already gone and having that guilty clutter under my sink is not going to bring the money back. Lol she even said, pull up your bank account, throw this stuff in the trash, mis look back at your account … it didn’t go down 😂 I know it sounds silly but somehow it clicked for me and this is why I love these three ladies. They meet us where we are and help us get where we want to be 💪 💛
Ya’all, I was shuffling art supplies all over my living space! Kept running into them as I was decorating for Christmas. This morning I got a box and walked through my whole house, put all the art supplies that I’ve never used into it. Then I got in my car and drove it over to the Art and Music Center, donated it. I feel like the weight of the World is off my shoulders!
I just “finished” decluttering. I even announced it to my friend and family. All done! Last load to goodwill. Then a week went by and I realized that there were a few more items that I didn’t need. It’s like an onion, but it gets easier with each layer 😊❤
Donating items to me is like setting those items free. They are free from making me feel like a failure, free from taunting me into keeping them, free to go live with someone that will cherish them as much as I cherish the things that I uncovered and love just by letting them go.
Listening to you made me realize how much I have learnt from watching your videos. Cas and Dawn from the beginning of the pandemic and Dana from a year ago in which Dana was the missing puzzle that I did not realized that I needed. Knowing how to declutter, organize and maintain gives me hope that one day I will wake up to a clean home, yard, sheds and my vehicle. Thank you for everything you do to gently make aware of having a messy home is not something to be ashamed of but able to learn and take action in removing what does not belong in our space for serenity. Thank you again for everything you do.☺
The Perfect Trio! This course is sooooo worth EVERY PENNY!!! The strategy of each lady comes together to create the absolutely BEST decluttering, organizing and minimalizing "dance"! Straight forward and nothing under the table, fun and precise, way of taking your house back is guaranteed! Please join this while the price is way generous! I am so glad that I joined when I did and I will continue rejoining as long as they are a team! You can also join each of their pages and web sites and classes too for one-on-one time! I love these ladies! Thank you to each of you! I am taking my house back at 67 years old and it feels great!
Exactly how I feel! My year will be up in April, and I will definitely be rejoining. I’ve been on a decluttering journey for about a year now, and although I still have a long way to go, I can feel a difference in parts of my house. It took 30 years of fatigue caused by a sleep disorder to get so out of control, and it is taking a long time to make progress, but I’m sure that the changes I’m making will be sustainable going forward. At 63, I finally have a light at the end of the tunnel, and finding Dawn, Dana and Cas has made such a difference in my life.
Number 1 thing The Encouragement. Like all you ladies and your energy. The next best thing is you don't judge or put a person on a guilt trip. Love and Hugs.
OMG! YES! Exactly what you all said at the end! Every time I think I've got a place pretty much "done" but it comes up in the ADD, and I find another layer to get rid of. Love every one of you, Dana over explaining (but I need that because then I remember it) Dawn telling me it's inventory, Cas yelling at me! Love. It. All.
I stuff shuffle as well. Also, I don’t like visible clutter, so I tend to shove stuff in closets, cabinets, etc… I’ve been decluttering on and off over the years, but never quite get where I want. I’m back on it again, threw a bunch of bathroom stuff in the garbage yesterday ( which makes me feel so bad about adding to the landfill, but it had to be done. ) cleaned out my spice cabinet today, and started working on a cabinet in my kitchen where I tend to shove paperwork, and other misc stuff. Feeling good, and motivated!
You dear beautiful ladies are my inspiration. You motivate me beyond anything and everything I can every imagine. You all Rock. You all my Heroes. All your strategies keep me from becoming an actual Hoarder. Thank you all. God Bless you. Truly a new Beginning for 2023.
I help a woman and her hubby. She is doing great! I took a pick-up load to donation center and then decluttered a twin bed and frame from their basement I go back tomorrow. I have taken 2 other truck loads in the last few days. I go back tomorrow.😃
Ladies…you three have changed my life! I found Dawn and Cass separately last spring. Then I realized y’all collaborated TOGETHER!!! It’s taken time, but slowly I’m getting there with our home. Can’t thank you enough. 🤟🏻💓
I bought the course the first year it was available. I took “before” pictures and literally had panic attacks from the overwhelm. I finally had to erase the photos from my phone. My point: after years of work, my house is SO much better!!! It would be so great if I could say, “I fixed my house in 30 days and have had so much time of thrilling beautiful success!“ Sadly, that is not my story. But what I can say is this: my house is so much better and getting better every month! I have many spots in my house that used to cause great stress and now they stay tidy all the time! this year I know I will be able to get to my goal of clutter-free in 23! I love that, Dawn, thank you so much to all three of you! You are all amazing and together you are changing the world!
My three favorites! You are all amazing! Dana is completely right- I was rage purging today 😂 Something about this week going into the new year makes me need to declutter!
I started and feel great every day that I do 20 minutes declutter. I had bins of clothes size XS-S from 8 years ago that I’ll never fit into again and finally donated all of it. 20 minutes work for me without getting overwhelmed so I will continue this way daily. Thank you ladies.
I waited over a year to sign up for this course. Just watching your youtube videos have helped me so much. I finally decided that paying and following the course is going to be worth every penny.
I love the terms ‘stuff shuffling’ and keeping good useful items in my house that are not being used is wasteful - better to throw them away if it’s not good enough to throw away - and thanks for the permission that not everything can be perfectly cleaned out for recycling
My family is finally slowly coming around in decluttering some stuff. It really does work to just focus on my stuff and they will see the benefits of a clean space. We went through my 2 youngest son’s room and I was surprised at the stuff they were willing to toss and some things I even paid them money for that went in the donate box. And my husband took a load to a local thrift store today from his garage because to keep it for a garage sale this summer and getting some money for it wasn’t worth it taking up space in his garage. SCORE!!!! Now I’m hoping he will think the same about some other things. But one step at a time.
One thing that I'm really trying to have as a checkpoint for myself is to change my wording from "I COULD use this (here or here or here), to I WILL use this HERE." For instance, a small tupperware container. "I COULD use this in the kitchen, or to hold some of my jewelry, or in my drawer as a divider, or turn it upside down and paint it and use it as a riser, or use it as a little drawer in my daughter's dress up box." Great. Those are where I COULD use it. Now, for me to keep it, I have to assign it the home and take it there now. "I WILL use this in xyz drawer as a divider, and I will take it there now." Otherwise it lives in limbo, with all these possibilities, but never actually serves it's purpose. So I have to assign it a home, not just dream of the possibilities.
I hope you listen to these ladies. They are Right. My story is I am 76+ years old now, and for 10 YEARS or more I have "saved" certain items to pass-on. Now ! All I can do is Trash my valuable keepsakes, They are ALL rotted, corroded, and are of NO use to anyone . All of those YEARS of spent energy , those items ended up in the Trash anyway.
I love the trifecta that are these incredible women! I’m so happy they’ve done this collaboration and continue it. You ladies have transformed my home, my life, and my family!
I’ve recently realized that my biggest hangup in getting things OUT is wanting to give it to the best person or place. 🤦🏻♀️ I waste more time thinking “who is best recipient?>I need to contact them>wait for response>what if they say No?> I should take this to e-waste> throw Away a paperback BOOK? >is this valuable enough to spend time photoing, posting, waiting, what mode of payment? Yes/No/Maybe, coulda/woulda/shoulda… No wonder I’m exhausted! And I WANT to get rid of things; my adult son does not….
OMG you are telling my story!! I do the same thing. Now I'm going to either toss or donate. Period. Otherwise my living room (in a very small 2 bedroom apt) becomes the holding tank for items waiting to be picked up by the interested party.
Hahaha! I started with my mountain of Sox, so I can completely relate to that achievement, and how exciting it was to kick off other decluttering projects!
Y’all are so inspiring. I watch all of y’all’s videos and have completed Cas course. Y’all have helped me take back my home and now I enjoy my home much more instead of dreading it.
Our oldest daughter moved back home after she broke up with her boyfriend. She got rid of most of her furniture, so mostly it's kitchen cabinet stuff, bathroom stuff (which she uses) and home decor stuff she loves. So all that has been added to our 30+ years of living in the same house and not really getting rid of anything (there is still stuff from when our kids were little). It's an old house, so there is not much storage. There isn't a clear flat surface in the house, except the bathroom counter. I have watched several videos at this point and there are a couple things I already do such as keep up with the dishes and dealing with the mail myself. Obviously there are a lot of things to do. I look forward to watching more videos and exploring your websites.
I really appreciate all the videos you ladies have posted on your channels and they helped me a lot. I just love watching you:) For all the free stuff you have made available I feel like I'd like to say 'thank you' by at least buying your course. And... still loads to be done and to declutter in the house😅 Thank you again Dana, Dawn and Cas:)
love the three of you so much! And I love the course so much! I bought it as a gift for myself in 2021. This was the best thing I did! I missed the first all day declutter and watching the replay still was so amazing. We have the most beautiful drill sergeant! Just kidding but you are amazing. I was able to get rid of so many items that I really was attached to I thought I had to hold on to. This course and the three of you taught me if everything's a treasure nothing's a treasure! I got rid of things I never thought I would! I have found I can live life and enjoy a holidays and celebrate things and not have to have all the stuff! I have had to learn the word trust and realize I don't have to be the one that holds everything! My journey as I share with many people I know now is having them get rid of things. I have a young mom friend that got rid of 100 bags of stuff literally moving from one apartment to another her family. The lives you are reaching in the homes that you are changing, the lives you are impacting and changing we thank you! Dana, Dawn, Cass everyone needs to take this course! It will impact everybody in One Way or Another! They will find Freedom they will find joy! The way you do the course each of you it's like you're each a spice to an amazing dish. In this course you each are an important piece! I hope more people jump on board and experience the difference it makes! Again thank you and I look forward to this coming year again with take your house back course! I also listen to each one of you individually it makes a difference as I'm going through different things I feel like you're right here with me! Bless you all bunches in 2023. I also wanted to share I realized like you said it's okay to let it go even if it's in the trash. There are items that I could have sold but then that would take time and I realized that was a distraction so I put it in a box donated it. The thing that I did is I taped my boxes shut. Once they were taped shut I didn't look back because it would take work to have to untape it. So once it was taped it was sealed it was gone. I realize just because I had a container doesn't mean it had to be full. It's okay to let go of things I Will Survive and I found freedom and I'm not bound to things like I used to be. You don't have to have the many items or many times any item to have the memory. I learned how to organize things to where I could manage it. And learn so many new tips and skills . I used to think I needed more space and a bigger house and through taking the course I gained space. Also I had to learn the word trust, I didn't have to hold on to everything for that just in case. I had to learn the word trust when I need it I will have a way for that item to be there. Also this Christmas I downsized from eight totes to one tote. And I accidentally I think donated my one tote and at first I was horrified. But then I remembered everything you have shared and I realized I am okay. I was able to find an item from my grandma in one of my kids memory totes. And I recreated it and it was an amazing Christmas! Change is okay! Change is fantastic! Even though I will tell you at the beginning I thought there was no way I was going to let go of things haha but I did! I don't miss it! I love the new tactics and skills and organizing! I learned in this group is how many times we have stuff and we forget the stuff that we have. By going through this course I learned how there were items I had just in storage just because I had the storage but I forgot I even had. And when I went through it you help me gain control of what I have so I can remember what I have. You had fun to the process as well! I've also learned to give my children permission to not to have to save things. Just because I think it's special doesn't mean they have to I don't want to have them bound to stuff. Actually majority of my children do better than I have. They always say Mom we don't hold on to stuff like you but they are seeing a new me. Even though my home could be a place where someone could come over I realized my containers were full and I had dropped zones. And the other thing organizing styles. I realized how many things were stopping me cuz I thought I had to do it the way my mom did and then I was putting that pressure on my kids. Taking this course no matter how all you are it's a life changer and it's for the better. The community is amazing and ever so kind and welcoming. Everyone in the group really does encourage each other and rally with each other you actually gain friends it's amazing.. Cass when you talked about the granny panties oh my goodness I was laughing so hard. I didn't think I had any and I did find one oh my I still giggle. But they are gone gone
INDECISION stops my decluttering progress. There are probably deeper meanings there...fear of making mistakes? Perfectionism, procrastination.... I really feel paralyzed. Dang that amygdala!!!
This last Wednesday, I had a loaner car while my little car was in the shop. Took advantage of the larger vehicle to take a load to the DAV thrift store: 3 bags of clothes, an unused roasting pan, small cooler bag, & a bag containing 4 dolls, a handheld vacume with accessories, & some plastic clothes hangers. 😹
20:36 In my house we loudly say “Oops! This half-filled lotion fell in the trash!” And then another person will say(encouragingly) “Oh no, what a terrible accident! Now we can’t all have greasy hands that smell like decaying roses!”For some reason it just helps to say it aloud and joke about it.
The course is so worth it. I have been a member over a year now and I am always thankful for the skills learned from these wonderful ladies. It gets easier the more you do it, and many many many time people FIND the money in their home to cover the amount spent on the course. 😂 It’s so funny when people find those lost gift cards they forgot, or a random bit of money shoved into a “safe place I won’t forget where I put it.” I don’t know that I have found that amount all at once, but the time invested in the tools is well worth it.
The lotion dilemma....My sister is a retired teacher and always got lots of lotion at Christmas. She gave them to me each year and I used them. I kept them in a bin in the closet. I always have lotion in my purse. Eventually she retired and I had plenty of lotion but I am now OUT! I can't see throwing that stuff out. Unless the scent bothers you. Lotion is something that will get used. Even just taking it to work to pass on to someone who would love it.
The holey granny panties was a personal attack 🙋🏽♀️😂😂😂 Instead of chucking them all at once though I wear a different pair to bed every night and then chuck them each morning. I will soon have nothing but nice ones left and I feel like I got one last wear out of the worn out ones 😂
I have to go slow and steady. I’ve taken out load after carload. Mostly my daughters things that she refuses to handle. I can not do the take it all out and sort through everything . I have to do it one drawer at a time.
We have a few charities that will come to your house (veterans of America, purple heart). You sign up for a pick-up online. I've started scheduling the next pick-up as soon as the truck leaves my house. I know that there will be more stuff in a month. I use goodwill too, but it's nice to have someone pick it up on the porch.
I’ve asked this on other videos, but are there people in the group with really messy houses? I feel like anytime someone says their house is messy, it’s clean in my eyes. Mine is so unorganized and gross. I have three kids. I work. I went into a deep depression after my third child because I just couldn’t keep up with my house and life. I started hoarding and I still have piles everywhere. You guys’ videos have really helped me change my mindset, and I’ve been slowly making progress. I’m still embarrassed about my house though. Are there other people out there that legitimately have gross houses, or are the just a little unorganized? I want to take the course next time around (I can’t afford it right now because Christmas sucked me dry 😂. I want to share and have motivation, but I don’t want to be the slob of the group. Are there other people on the hoarder level? Lol
Hi, I relate to where you're at I think. Except I only have one young one, but was having a hard time anyway and then my Mom got sick and past, now I feel trapped in grief, depression, and mess. Making small moves forward, but oh they are small. 💜
I have not gotten to clean out my apartme t for Oh so long! My brothers gifted me a Roomba for Christmas, but its still in the box, cuz the floor is too cluttered to let the roomba out! I have been a total hoarder you are Not Alone at all! Lets clean one foot of one corner of one section of a tiny room at a time!
I work full time and struggle with depression. My house is truly a disaster. Not clean. Not organized. I have kids and animals and I do take good care of them but every flat surface is stuffed and paper is everywhere. I spot clean and try to keep up with dishes…but laundry is ridiculous. I am very ashamed of my home. I do think this program and their strategies are the best I have seen.
You three women are powerful! Great conversation! I just want to comment on Dawn's comment about "amygdalas in our brains" . We have one amygdala each. It is considered to be part of our primitive brain...a very interesting piece of our response to external threat or perceived threat.
I just told a friend to start watching you guys and “ brain wash” yourself. I watched you guys for a month or so before I started decluttering. A year and half later my house isn’t perfect but better. Progress not perfection is my new motto. This Christmas was the most relaxed Christmas I ever had. Even had gifts wrapped before Christmas Eve!! First ever!! And gifts were more thoughtful not just stuff. P.S. My teen girls love to watch you too and I’m hoping that they will learn this sooner than I did.
I am like Dawn...I call it my T&T Day....its Thursday...its Trash and Declutter Day...I do a trash bag therapy go through the house and take out a trash bag full of just trash....then I get a box or basket and go through the house and take things out that we don't use...don't want...don't need any more...seal the box and get it out of the house! I have a room that I put boxes in for yard sales...so this Spring I am going to have a big yard sale...take the boxes out of that room and do the sale...then what is left is free or it is donated! I have to travel a long ways to the nearest donation place...so in our area we do yard sales for extra income...we use the income for our vacation or for our family.
It is motivating to declutter and see results and then life happens and it is easy to forget it. The starting again is the hardest part. After Christmas is a good time to restart, because it is such a hopeful season and that motivates me.
@@JustOneDress I’m plugging away and am on target. I worked in my garage over the weekend and collected a lot of donations. My garage and attic were/are my two main areas that need decluttering. My closet could use a little thinning out because I’m not wearing some of the clothing. But, everything is in order. I am not a minimalist. I just want order and clean spaces.
I don't declutter much between these two holidays. I must be an oddball. I only throw out trash and boxes... and lean into the chaos and relax and play with my kids this week. Next week I'll go hard-core decluttering things again. (But I don't have very much left to declutter... I think!)
Do you all plan on having this course at the beginning of every year, as far as you know, at a discounted price? The reason I ask is bc I’m unfortunately at a very low point in my life with the loss of my only sibling/sister to cancer (I’m paying for her funeral currently once a month) and my dad is terminally ill as well so the financial and emotional stress is out the roof to even help myself with anything right now. I’m hoping in the future that I’ll be able to find peace and get my life as well as my house back one day. Thanks for all these great videos! I look forward to all of them and love you all 3! ❤
Lots of their content is free on You Tube and podcasts, especially A Slob Comes Clean….very good! You can start there. I love all three of these ladies. Cas is funny too. Dawn’s You Tube Minimal Mom is great.
A few weeks ago I was cleaning out my bathroom stuff and dumping half empty bottles of soaps and whatnot down the drain so I could recycle the bottles and I clogged my sink!! Draino wouldn't even dislodge it! I had to pull the plumbing apart and buy a snake to reach the clog! So lesson learned lol, sometimes it's better to skip the recycling😂
So right on timing... very very important , video,.. essence. Already renewed the course for second time... hope to reach the goal this time... Positive is I have started with 10-15 min minimum...thanks to this course & these wonderful 3 girls
I think Laura from how to GYST put it perfectly. Minimalism is a privilege. ❤ I don’t have the privilege to get rid of useful stuff - unless I can sell it. But, I can get rid of stuff I don’t need or use. And that’s what I have used the course for ❤ it’s perfect to use for all those items that are just filling up your house and making it hard to have it organized because there is just too much stuff! I can’t use the 20 rule because nothing in Norway costs 20 dollars or less. Everything is so expensive here and on my budget it feels even worse than it is. I’m so thankful I took my overtime pay and signed up for this course because with Dana’s decluttering method I managed to get my office in check again. Decluttering is totally the best way to organize 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ and I’m going to continue using her method so I can stay on top of my apartment and at piece in my home. ❤❤❤
I also needed Cas’ clothes decluttering on the whole day decluttering. She was right! If you don’t love it, and it doesn’t fit you nicely: LET IT GO!!! Yay Cas 🎉❤🎉😀
@@JustOneDress Seems like you’re doing exactly what you accuse other people of. Maybe you should try to understand what they are actually saying before you make them into that box you like to group them into. 🙄
@@JustOneDress And of course it is Biden that is personally responsible for the inflation. No, don’t look out of your bubble and see what’s going on in the rest of the world. Hahaha 😝 It’s all Bidens fault of course the inflation right now would not have happened if Obama or Trump or Bush was president right now. Only dumb people blame their current leader for a worldwide financial crisis. Oh well, did I put you in the wrong box now missy???
Not every country in the world has a shopaholic approach to their lives like you people in USA. Maybe we don’t have 300000 items in our households that we need to get rid of to be able to breathe in our own homes? Maybe we have a little excess that needs to be removed/decluttered and then we can move on and organize the rest? Maybe we don’t have to go shopping all the time to fill our homes with needless waste to fill that black hole in our bodies? Maybe we are just happier in total and don’t need that wasteful shopping therapy you Americans need all the time? And maybe that’s why we don’t need to become minimalists to be happy? Ever thought of that miss princess?
😱 I have family coming in 1 week to stay with us. I am so ready for the all day declutter!! I also had family stop by 2 days in a row and have never been more relieved they didn't go in the house. Taking back my house fully this year!!
That's why I bought all new underwear at the last All Day. Declutter! Cas was using her "voice" telling us to get rid of all the old stained pairs that we have in our drawers.
5:44 I spent years decluttering by taking things out and sorting it all into piles…only to end up storing it all for years! It was all perfectly labelled but shoulda just decluttered 🤷♀️
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this. Ugghhh. Something finally changed in me this week, not sure why, but I'm ready to toss or donate instead of stalling out by constantly sorting and then resorting. I must have finally hit my tipping point with all the clutter and just shuffling it (like Cas says). Musical piles.
That’s exactly what happens to me. I start, taking Everything out but then I have to go do something else then back to work. Everything is still out and when I get home from work I’m tired n just can’t get back into the cleaning or decluttering mode. Right, I’ve got a mess of a house now🤷♀️😟😭
I been procrastinating to declutter my kids room. Today I was determined to finally did it l. Got trash bag and put in place the things on the floor and the room looks clean and clear now 😊 so proud of myself 😅 Try Cas trash bag therapy then Dana technique to take it NOW. And Dawn technique of have a limit of kids clothes and toys by separating it like Church / school uniform/ casual. I got rid of kids cloth closet and got cubic storage with bins for my kids clothes. And it’s way better. No more hangers on the floor and empty closet 😂
Ladies, while listening to this video I cranked the sound up and shredded a huge basket of old receipts and paid invoices. The only yelling involved (I love you guys) came from me when I finally finished the shredding and cleaned up the mess! Woohoo!
Love you Girls! When I hear the "black trash bag" it irks me a little as we haven't been able to use them in many, many years. Neither trash pickup nor Salvation Army will accept. I'm getting pretty good about using a lined trash can so that would be my tip for those in the same situation. Lug around a tall trash bin or tall laundry basket lined with your clear bag. That way you'll have less of an issue 2nd guessing yourself. Once it's in and you can't easily see it, it gets easier. I've even been known to dump coffee grounds in for extra insurance. Then get it out of the house immediately, full or not.
I do love each of you, AND I plan to justify my inevitable future & past decluttering mistakes by saying, "well, I didn't spend money on decluttering books (future clutter) or classes (distraction from me doing this), so the perceived value of those unfortunately lost items is the cost of learning this valuable life skill." (I probably couldn't find those items if I'd kept them!) 😉😆😘
I'd blush, but, that's not my thing. So, when Mom passed, I found these lotion bottles. And some were easy to toss, almost empty. But there were two brand new ones, so I took them with me when I moved. (I was taking care of the folks). I'm a guy. Should I use lotion? Likely, but I don't. So I found them...again...recently and thought, I'm gonna use these up. And your keying in on lotion reminded me, I don't use it, I don't like it, and they're past the 'best by' date, so I can't in good conscious donate them. In the trash they went. Two things off the bathroom sink vanity counter, and it's a reallllly small counter.
My favorite decluttering quotes that have helped me so much! :
“If you’re not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You’re not going to start using it more by shoving it in a closet somewhere.”
“Getting rid of perfectly good items may seem wasteful, but that’s not where we went wrong. It was wasteful to purchase it. Now we are just acknowledging it.”
“When we really delve into the reasons for why we can’t let something go, there are only two: an attachment to the past or a fear of the future.”
“Remember that the money you spent on your item is gone. You are not any richer if you store this item and you won’t be any poorer if you let it go.”
Thank you for listing these quotes. I took a screenshot in order to have it handy when I'm needing motivation!
I also took a screenshot of your list of favorite decluttering quotes. Thank you for the list.
Yes!!!
Lol she even said, pull up your bank account, throw this stuff in the trash, mis look back at your account … it didn’t go down 😂
I know it sounds silly but somehow it clicked for me and this is why I love these three ladies. They meet us where we are and help us get where we want to be 💪 💛
So glad people are enjoying these quotes 😊
"It's wasteful to keep it and let it steal my space."
I'm writing that one down.
Good to know!! (I’m a crafter-greeting cards!)
Great job!
Well done, Christine! Enjoy the new freedom! It will encourage the next round of clearance. G Ire
It cleared your space and was such a blessing to somebody else!
Christine....I'm so jealous! On a serious note, your post has motivated me. Thank you. Happy New Year!!
I agree
Listening to you made me realize how much I have learnt from watching your videos. Cas and Dawn from the beginning of the pandemic and Dana from a year ago in which Dana was the missing puzzle that I did not realized that I needed. Knowing how to declutter, organize and maintain gives me hope that one day I will wake up to a clean home, yard, sheds and my vehicle. Thank you for everything you do to gently make aware of having a messy home is not something to be ashamed of but able to learn and take action in removing what does not belong in our space for serenity. Thank you again for everything you do.☺
How do I renew for the year?
Yes, both of these!! ❤️
OMG!
I took a pick-up load to donation center and then decluttered a twin bed and frame from their basement
I go back tomorrow. I have taken 2 other truck loads in the last few days. I go back tomorrow.😃
Love this trio! Unfortunately I can't join this year but I wish everyone much less stuff this year! 😊
Ladies…you three have changed my life! I found Dawn and Cass separately last spring. Then I realized y’all collaborated TOGETHER!!! It’s taken time, but slowly I’m getting there with our home. Can’t thank you enough. 🤟🏻💓
I follow all three of you and just bought a membership! You all make perfect sense and I am motivated. :)
Cas, you made a light bulb in my head go on! I’m am definitely a real shuffler🤔
Me too
I bought the course the first year it was available.
I love them all too!!!
My three favs too!
"You have my permission to ..." has been huge for me! Thank you ladies for saying those words multiple times.
I started and feel great every day that I do 20 minutes declutter. I had bins of clothes size XS-S from 8 years ago that I’ll never fit into again and finally donated all of it. 20 minutes work for me without getting overwhelmed so I will continue this way daily. Thank you ladies.
I love it now that I do one small project at a time. I feel so accomplished!!
I waited over a year to sign up for this course. Just watching your youtube videos have helped me so much. I finally decided that paying and following the course is going to be worth every penny.
Same with me
I love the terms ‘stuff shuffling’ and keeping good useful items in my house that are not being used is wasteful - better to throw them away if it’s not good enough to throw away - and thanks for the permission that not everything can be perfectly cleaned out for recycling
Thanks you Cass!!! I am soo happy to learn that it is OK to trash "good" stuff.
💖 wisdom! Thank you.
@@MorningClarity what a sweet response!
I got rid of a lot of socks too!
I feel like this video addresses the number one factor for me in decluttering! It’s so important
So much fun seeing all three of you in the same video ❤
"It became a hobby. It became something I did for fun." 😂 #lifegoals Hope I get there someday.
I'm so glad you three Gals found each other and that we all found you. See you on the 7th. Happy New Year🥂🥂
The course is so worth it.
I LOVE it when Cas gives me permission to be imperfect ❤️
We have a few charities that will come to your house (veterans of America, purple heart). You sign up for a pick-up online. I've started scheduling the next pick-up as soon as the truck leaves my house. I know that there will be more stuff in a month. I use goodwill too, but it's nice to have someone pick it up on the porch.
I also do the pickups with VVA and think it’s awesome that they come here to pick it up. I’m going to check if Purple Heart comes my way. Thank you.
I had to clear out my stuff for new floors. It is a great way to decide what you want to put back and what can go .
Thanks so much, Dana, for referring to us listeners as “y’all” and not “guys”!!!
Lol
There are people at all levels, for sure. You'll be in great company.
Hi, I relate to where you're at I think. Except I only have one young one, but was having a hard time anyway and then my Mom got sick and past, now I feel trapped in grief, depression, and mess. Making small moves forward, but oh they are small.
💜
You are not alone! These folks are great. Baby steps!
We don't put things away until January 7. We celebrate the 12th night. It is still Christmas!
I'm not part of the group but I love all 3 of you. The benefit of all 3 of you is 3 kinds of crazy!!! : )
T&T! 😊
It is motivating to declutter and see results and then life happens and it is easy to forget it. The starting again is the hardest part. After Christmas is a good time to restart, because it is such a hopeful season and that motivates me.
I so love all three of you!! ❤❤
My mantra: CLUTTER FREE IN ‘23! 🎉
I think!)
I’m blessed and so grateful I have a husband that helps me
You 3 ladies are awesome!
I couldn’t pass up this deal been wanting to do it for awhile now and now I can thanks to your sale thank God for y’all have a blessed year ❤❤
Do you all plan on having this course at the beginning of every year, as far as you know, at a discounted price? The reason I ask is bc I’m unfortunately at a very low point in my life with the loss of my only sibling/sister to cancer (I’m paying for her funeral currently once a month) and my dad is terminally ill as well so the financial and emotional stress is out the roof to even help myself with anything right now. I’m hoping in the future that I’ll be able to find peace and get my life as well as my house back one day. Thanks for all these great videos! I look forward to all of them and love you all 3! ❤
It will go on sale again for sure! I am so so sorry for your loss.
Lots of their content is free on You Tube and podcasts, especially A Slob Comes Clean….very good! You can start there. I love all three of these ladies. Cas is funny too. Dawn’s You Tube Minimal Mom is great.
@@DanaKWhite thank you for commenting to me personally about my question Dana. I also appreciate your very kind words about my situation as well. ❤️
This was the best! I have energy to declutter and make this year the BEST! Plus I laughed so hard my side hurts! Love y’all!!!
You 3 crack me up!! But, I love all your channels and all your great advice.
I need to clean my freezers . . . . Yes the freezer with the fridge, the one in the garage and the other chest freezer we got over COVID.
I love the collab! ❤
So right on timing... very very important , video,.. essence.
Already renewed the course for second time... hope to reach the goal this time... Positive is I have started with 10-15 min minimum...thanks to this course & these wonderful 3 girls
I had no idea that Dawn does what I do - make sure the trash can is full on trash day!!! Yes, let's not waste space when we do have trash!
@@JustOneDress She definitely changes decor more than anyone I know.
Thank you to the 3 of you. This is helpful.
Omg, Cas. You're so right - I don't want the paramedics seeing half the stuff I wear. Lol
Can't wait till Jan 7th. So excited
You ladies are sooo cute together!!!
When Cas was saying oh look at my socks. I was like that’s how I felt about my medicine cabinet.
I ❤ the permissions Not to be perfect! Must let go!!!
I needed that permission to throw things out. As soon as this is done, I'm grabbing a trash bag and doing a speed run.
Absolutely Love This!!!!😁
AMEN
NEW YEAR!!!!
I’ve learned so much from you all. Thank you.
That’s exactly what happens to me. I start, taking Everything out but then I have to go do something else then back to work. Everything is still out and when I get home from work I’m tired n just can’t get back into the cleaning or decluttering mode. Right, I’ve got a mess of a house now🤷♀️😟😭
Dawns like throw it ALL away! 21:14
"PUT IT IN THE BAG!!!" I'm crying🤣🤣🤣
I been procrastinating to declutter my kids room. Today I was determined to finally did it l. Got trash bag and put in place the things on the floor and the room looks clean and clear now 😊 so proud of myself 😅
Try Cas trash bag therapy then Dana technique to take it NOW. And Dawn technique of have a limit of kids clothes and toys by separating it like Church / school uniform/ casual.
I got rid of kids cloth closet and got cubic storage with bins for my kids clothes. And it’s way better. No more hangers on the floor and empty closet 😂
Love you three gals!
Wow, thank you so much for the amazing price! I’m getting it…!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️
Love you girls so much❤️
Ladies, while listening to this video I cranked the sound up and shredded a huge basket of old receipts and paid invoices.
I think it was the Maria kondo movement that started everyone pulling everything out and making it too overwhelming
Omg
The three queens
Thank you soooo much for this!
Just signed up for the course! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I do love each of you, AND I plan to justify my inevitable future & past decluttering mistakes by saying, "well, I didn't spend money on decluttering books (future clutter) or classes (distraction from me doing this), so the perceived value of those unfortunately lost items is the cost of learning this valuable life skill." (I probably couldn't find those items if I'd kept them!) 😉😆😘
When is next session? I want to join.
I need Cass to tell me STOP IT. JUST STOP. THROW IT AWAY! You DESERVE THIS.
I am a Stuff Shuffler and I HATE IT
I'd blush, but, that's not my thing.
The A TEAM!!!!!
