Rare Saito Sensei COLOUR FILM QUALITY footage 1985

In 1985 Morihiro Saito Sensei accompanied by Nemoto Sempai conducted Takemusu Aikido seminars in Melbourne and Sydney, at the invitation of instructors Michael Field, Barry Knight and Saburo Takayasu.
The footage was shot on 16mm colour negative using a wind up clockwork Bolex movie camera by Anthony Lawrence. Anthony got a bit nervous when the clockwork spring wound down halfway during the 31 step Jo Kata, and he had to politely request that Saito Sensei pause midway while he gave the camera another quick wind up. Saito Sensei was very understanding.
