The obly reason israel is bombing those areas is to limit Israeli casualties when the ground forces enter. A city is a maze full of traps, and Israel would rather bonb the area than to let it's soldiers die in order to get there.
Second of all, who started this conflict? Who hides behind civilians and uses them as shields? Hamas. If israel didn't care about Palestinian casualties they could erase gaza in minutes. Unlike isis who could do nothing when an army came down on their heads and had to resort to other venues.
Third russia invaded ukraine, ukraine didn't enter with an armed force abd started slaughtering russians now did they? Unlike hamas who invaded israel slaughter 1400 israelis and foreigners and took 3 towns hostage.

I don’t think they’re annoyed at all. They were given countless opportunities to leave Gaza. I read the book "The Punishment of Gaza" today by Gideon Levy, and I can say that the book is an exact description of what Mr. Bassem has stated in this interview. The book is not for the faint hearted, as one may feel their heart coming into their mouth -- the amount of suffering one peoples can extract on another peoples can make you loose faith in humanity. The sheer impunity with which it has gone on for decades is unimaginable. Respect to Mr. Bassem for holding a mirror to the world.

They started it when they stole Palestinian land and territory, imposed apartheid, dispossessed them, routinely killed them and so on. There's no evidence that Hamas hides behind human shields. There is no EVIDENCE whatsoever about Hamas killing babies or teenage girls, you and i know that this is Israeli propaganda supported by nothing except few fake pictures, yet there are more than 10 interviews with Israeli women who were captured by Hamas and who also admit that Hamas was nice to them and never hurt them in anyway, eventually Hamas even did let them go, however i do agree that Hamas killed civilian grown men which Israel does every day, more than 1500 children till now were killed by Israel in Gaza with hundreds of videos as EVIDENCE, if you agree with killing babies and children this way then we certainly have a real problem

Prob the best interview of my life
For the people who didn't watch the full interview, Piers interrupted Bassem many times. At some point during the interview, Piers even rudely cut off Bassem to bring on a pro-Israeli journalist who went on a monologue without being interrupted not even once, and at the end Piers didn't even let Bassem reply back to the pro-Israeli journalist.
Bassem Youssef is way too smart for Piers Morgan to debate and obviously Piers was too scared to loose his job if he let Bassem talk freely.
For the people reading this comment and believing anything that people write, Bassem’s section had already ended but Piers extending an invite for him to stay into the section with the CEO of the daily wire to give him time to listen to the different side.

Why doesn't Egypt simply allow Palestinian Muslims into their territory? They share the same culture, language and values. Egypt isn't a weak nation, nor is Lebanon.
