Several years back I spent a grand getting an Artisan putter. Probably the best money I’ve spent when it comes to golf. We don’t think twice about dropping $500 for a new driver every year or two but ball at spending that much on a club you use on every hole. Golf is a crazy sport.

Love my DF2.1. I've been studying LAB Putters for a while and thought it was a gimmick. The more I researched it the more I was intrigued. I finally pulled the trigger and have never been more pleased with a golf club as I am with my L.A.B. DF2.1. I have a 34.5" 72* lie angle. I went with the remote fitting and I am very pleased with it. Spent January and Feb in St. Augustine and was qute surprised at how well I putted for never seeing the greens down there before. Great review. Now get out there and break 59.

The Mez Max Broom is the best thing that’s happened to my game.
Confidence is so high. I’ll miss a few short still. Nothings perfect! But I’m draining more 10-20 footers than I have in my 35+ years of playing. I hit and see my lines so much easier being upright.

I know the GOLF has been slowing down, but would LOVE to see a development series from you. Get the structure back and reinforced in your swing, and pick 2-3 events for the year that you want to play it. Some documentative content and a recorded tournament round would be amazing. I love your competition vids even if its you competing against yourself when you were more active on the course.
Hope your year is a fun one. Miss watching you play. Hope the family is doing great

Drove to LAB yesterday and got fit in person. Ended up with the df2.1 32” and 73° lie angle. Went with blue and a white Accra shaft. Got similar lines to your df3 with a white line along the top of the face. It really helped me square the face and the path. I usually struggle around 6 feet and I dropped close to 20 in a row on a green with a little slope. The guys there were great and even met Sam for a few minutes.

Hi Andrew from Barrie Ontario. I have the original DF2.1 and although it's somewhat ugly, at least that's what my playing partners say, it is the best putter i've ever used after playing golf for 56 years. This will be my third season with it and I would be hard pressed to use another putter in the future, unless it's a L.A.B . I sink more putts than I ever have before and practicing is enjoyable. Btw, with the money i've won from my partners, it's paid for itself.

Recently, at a group lesson, I out putted everyone with my old Heavy Putter B3-M I picked up years ago on sale for $75. A few guys had Scottys and there was one Evnroll and one LAB. My last round I dropped a 23' and a 34' putt. I save pars from 10-12' with this putter all the time. I think I got lucky and found an off the rack putter that just really fits me. If my putting was off and seriously costing my strokes, I would be looking hard at a LAB putter.

Have a lab mez long putter and like it. Got it because I was watching the tour pro's using it and announcers were saying how well it was between the 6-10 ft puts which my weak part of putting.
Had this for about 6 months now and notice big different in the 1-10 foot range and putting has improved. Only problem is the longer puts, it takes a while to get the range down on them.
I have back issues as well and think this helps with being more upright on putts and less strain on the back.
Only problem, is you can't pick up balls with the mez. Looks like you can with your version though

The degree of press isn’t what you press but rather the angle the shaft leans towards the leading edge.
The DF 2.1 requires 3* because the shaft is set back. The 3.0 which you have the shaft isn’t as far back which allows for the 1.5 or 2.0 press grip.

I have DF 2.1 and love it. You speak no lies, the LAB almost feels like a cheat code… point and shoot.
The only thing I wonder about is feel. As someone that only used milled 300 series stainless steel putters the ting-y feel was hard to get used to.
Love the smaller foot print of the DF3 but probably not enough to ditch the 2.1. That said if they made DF4 with an insert… *chefs kiss*

The whole point of the fitting process is to suit it to your stroke. I feel like not using their lie angle defeats the purpose of the whole thing. It’s literally in the name of the putter. LIE ANGLE Balance.

    • @andrewjensengolf
      @andrewjensengolf  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

I understand what you’re saying, but this is a virtual fitting process, not an in person fitting. In person, you have accuracy and dialogue with a fitter. Virtual, you don’t.
Sending in a video, you are relying on the camera height and angle being 100% what LAB are looking for. 67° is far too flat and angle for me, and it could be because my camera angle was too low, thus making the lie angle I was stroking at appear so flat.
