I think that the houses needed to be on the layout. One of the thing I remember when I was there was how the houses were close together, tall a thin , and all different colors. You did a great layout😊

My husband was in Amsterdam last month, but only for a day basically because he was going to Germany for work. I haven’t scrapbooked his photos yet but I’m gathering supplies for the layout. I’m from Sherwood Park. 🇨🇦

I love the mats that you used to plan your layout. Was Close to My Heart the only company to make such an item? I looks like a useful tool. I enjoyed watching your layout come together. Seeing the photos and how you used colors that tied in with the photos was helpful to see.

Thanks. To my knowledge these are the only matts like this, but I do think there are similar versions on the market. Just not quite as nice. Some people really like using a glass matt!

Oh my goodness, that’s an awesome layout! We’ve been to Amsterdam but I haven’t scrapped it yet 😉 and I believe you live close to me, Calgary area… can I ask where the Amsterdam die is from and what it’s called? I like the thickness 😊. Thanks Amy and happy scrapping 💖

Yes, I live in Lacombe! Are you talking about the letters or the little houses? The little houses were a clearance sale from Debbie at Scrappin’ and Card Makin’ and I don’t recall who made them anymore! 😬 The word Amsterdam is the outline alphabet thincuts from my very last month with CTMH. I’ll look for the houses die…

Ah, they were in very high demand for the month of April but have now retired unfortunately. You could possibly watch buy and sell. Sorry I’m not a lot of help. I’m no longer with CTMH as they are closing out! :(
