Zboegt putting a V8 in a Supra would be stupid. They’ve been I6. But can’t be any worse because of a BMW B58 I6 in the 2020 and 2021.
@@obamaatemyson5297How can you come to the conclusion it would be stupid without knowing what the impetus for, in this case, swapping a non Toyota power plant, with a different configuration, for the traditional Toyota I6 (any change or difference than "What's always been done.", in general). At the very least, There is value to be gained if the reason was simply to do it "Because I could." or to see if they could. It may be hard to measure the value of things like experience, technical know-how, self confidence and several other self growth and improvement characteristics that result from undertaking and tackling projects of this nature, but they are valuable, none the less. Often, that value will translate into other aspects of your life and help you in ways and situations that you wouldn't anticipate. Stupid is as stupid does and a stupid person is not one equipped to carry out a complex task that an engine swap would be. Hell, a stupid person wouldn't have the imagination to picture a successful swap of this nature, let alone the necessary brackets, shims, wire harness mods, etc they would have to self fabricate. I dare say that it would in fact be "Brilliant" or "Borderline genius" to successfully swap in a V8 or any motor that the manufacturer doesn't produce and sell in the model of vehicle in question!
