      Good video.
Question: About how much money does it cost for labor ?
PS : I buy my own parts.

I have watched several instructional video's in my 40+ years of bending wretches and this is the best ive seen yet! Kudos to you and your instructional ability to help others in this profession!

Best car installation video ever. I need to do timing/water pump job on 2001 Accord v6 but don't know anything about it. This gives me the process and parts needed for the job. Looks to be a major job.

17:15 for anyone wondering you can apparently use your battery mounting bolt (Long thread rod that's bent to hold your battery down) as the bolt that goes into this ear. I have not tested this but saw it in a service guide diagram

Great appreciate you identifying the size of each tool, socket, etc. my daughter (high school) and I need to do this for her 1999 Honda Accord. I have shared your video with many others. 👍🏻😉🏎🛻🚗🚔🚘🏎🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸

Those foreign vehicles like this is one. Is lot of major labor. This is one puzzle that may take a couple of days to do. American cars don't have this much stuff to take off just to replace one part. This video is a big big big help

Great video. This will be my third Honda timing belt. I will be having my son do it on his car so he can learn. Glad I could find this video that shows it on his exact car down to the color. Thanks again! Great job!

Your a good mechanic. For those who are doing this at home it's a good idea to wire wheel those corroded bolts back to clean metal and hit them with a spritz of wd-40.

Such a great video. The only thing that I didn't see you do was to refill the power steering pump reservoir, however perhaps not enough leaked out to necessitate this. Great job!

The only thing I cannot understand in this video I'd when turning the crank over by the harmonic balancer, what 3 lines are you talking about lining up?

A lil off topic here: what kind of camera was used in this video. The resolution is amazing. This is one of the sharpest, cleanest TH-cam videos I've seen.

Love the video, I would think it took you about a good day's job to complete.
I always like to clean the threads on a wire wheel, then oil before reinstalling.
    Thanks for your video..

Do you raise up the motor a lil bit to take of the bracket that is holding the motor ?

Thank you for this precious video. Is it not necessary to position the number 1 piston at TDC before we work on the timing belt?

concerning the power steering belt you put the side motor mount on first which blocks the ability to put the belt on both sides of the mount down to the crank pulley did you remove the mount off camera then feed the belt down

I have a 02 Accord that is a 3.0 and it has two serpentine belts. The belt on the inside crank pulley drives the power steering pump. The other belt drives the AC and alternator. How would you take off the belt for the power steering pump when it doesn't have a tensioner? Thanks in advance

  • @theregotk

if i’m just doing the belt do i skip the steps after you took off the belt and just put it back on?

I assume, if you have to replace the cam shaft position sensors, you might as well do this job, because the are mounted to the playe behind bank 1 cam sprocket?

for 16:30, this bolt doesnt have to be 50mm long; mine was 35mm for some reason Lowes doesnt have a hex nut in that size that long
