The orchestrations during the middle section of the song give me the feeling of a Mussorgsky going metal, and I love it! Amazing song from an amazing album; the consistency of this band is astonishing.

@@GodsGrieff damn that must be annoying. I guess it's cause of the "satanic/devil" theme. I'm christian and there exists lots of christian metal, even death and black. Just cause it sounds brutal doesn't mean its "evil" or something, some think that. Imo it's the message in the music that counts.
The second half, when I thought it had ended, made it from "good" to "really fucking great". It had the couple of Septicflesh elements I was missing in the first part.
Christos is absolutely killing it with the composition on this track , and the album in general . The brass section (as a brass player) just stunning .
Second that. Best of Septicflesh in my opinion (and I habitually binge listen starting with Sumerian Deamons). Perfect match between lyrics and the music. Great lyrics. Fantastic merge of metal and the orchestral parts. Transitions between the calm before the storm and the storm itself - WOW !!! Hats off and on your knees :-) I want a statue of a hierophant in front of my house.
Modern Primitive is a very solid release, the kind that only such masters of the dark arts as Septicflesh could produce, but this song stands out as a stroke of genius.
I still remember being a 13 year old listening to this band for the first time and being terrified. 10 years later and it's one of my absolute favorites. Can't wait to see you guys on stage one day

This has such a dense, dark atmosphere. It's aggressive, suppressing and aggitating. Very intense. The ending is calming and really beautiful. Thanks for this masterpiece.

So epic , so well they made the orchestra blend with metal , like no other band out there . I have never seen a bad album of Septicflesh in their entire discography! The wait for this album was soo worth it man! This band and Godflesh Apocalypse best metal bands on this genre .
