Why does he have to make such a long speech on LMW's insignificant comment on podcast. Whether speaker has been impartial towards opposition mps, audience has the discretion to understand from his actions.
Of course, im in the view that SKP has been partial towards opposition members of Parliament. One good example is He Ting Ru was invited to speak in parliament when the crowd all walked out to eat the cake prepared by Indranee for LHL's retirement as pm.

Looking at the numerous occasions that LMW had breached parliamentary rules, he shd be removed from parliament straightaway n made to explain why he shd be there in the first place. The first rule of being in parliament shd be to observe parliamentary rules.

Oh dear, this is the dismal low quality of our new Speaker who took over from Tan Chuan Jin? How depressing for Singapore. SKP kept repeating himself ad nauseam and said the same old thing Again.... and Again..... Now I know why Ministers and MPs are so highly paid in Singapore. They are forced to sit in Parliament and listen to this endless repetition of mundane gibberish. It is the modern version of enduring torture. Call it hardship pay. The matter could be addressed within a few minutes. So incredibly petty. 小气. Not a man destined to do great things.

  • @nicholasgoh3526

You know how much it cost the tax payer for this petty 15 mins speech which can be done in 2 mins? Just add the salaries of the people in parliament that day plus the cost of the broadcast for that 15mins? That 15mins could also be used for a smoke or toilet break which would have been more productive. I hope this SKP will be replaced asap.
