- This is my first fanmade undertale/deltarune song. I got Smart Race, added intense instruments, and chime noises to represent the ice.

It is less brutal and more extremely deppresing and leaving you with a sense of hopelessness and desperation through every second of it.
i mean it isnt that bad. you go numb to it all rather quickly from the cold and soon enough and even begin to feel the illusion of warmth as you succumb to the freezing temperatures.

All the main characters who get killed via Genocide/weird routes in each chapter should come back and become like a boss gauntlet in the end of Ch. 7
We already got to refight all the generic chapter 2 enemies along with Clover, so this is a possibility.

Bad Ending: After saying proceed so many times, Noelle will now listen to your commands, you make her do snowgrave again, and this time, instead of leaving Berdly in that ice crystal, you make Kris slice the crystal in half, permanently killing Berdly.
Good Ending?: Noelle breaks free from your command, and joins Berdly's team, Noelle casts ice shock, turning your soul cyan, you move slowly for the entire game now, Berdly and Noelle flee, after walking all the way to queen's castle and fighting spamton, you inevitably lose to spamton, because Noelle isn't going to listen to you anymore, and you will be soft locked in this save file.

i can imagine berdley actually coming back. he could be back in a much later chapter, with the reason why he comes back being the cyber city overheating, like how normal computers overheat. totally seeing this happening because it looks like all the computers and stuff are hooked to one outlet in the computer lab

If this was real, Berdly would have the same traits as Undyne in Undertale. Imagine if you will: You go through the snowgrave route and kill Berdley in one hit with snowgrave. But then you see his SOUL shine and thaws the ice enough so he can move. and then, the following is stated from Berdley: Gamers don’t die, THEY RESPAWN!

@@RugsMemes The thing with Deltarune is that it IS the same universe as undertale, but the human/monster war never happened, Mettaton probably did visit the dark world on tours because NEO Spamton's body is Mettaton's. Neo Spamton can't even move on his own because Mettaton's body is powered by a soul which Spamton doesn't have. I don't think the light world monsters are darkners but they probably did interact with the dark world because there was no war to seal them underground

@@RugsMemes Well since the computers in the lab look old and/or to be a standard model instead of something unique, I think just about any computer can probably take someone to the dark world considering that kris and susie landed somewhere away from any settlements or cities

Berdly: Ha! Jokes on you! We’re playing Roblox!
The fight is fought alone, since Noelle leaves after she freezes Berdly. After she leaves, about 5 seconds later, you can see the ice around Berdly starting to shatter. Berdly, much more determined to defeat the player, gains more power and attacks you!
His dialogue mostly acknowledges how sick you are for manipulating Noelle and how u recently changed. Also some Berdly's past lore.
Attacks:
1. Berdly summons 2 giant tornados outside of the box to the right and left, that shoot soul-sized snowflakes rapidly and in random directions towards the fighting box. *[Each of them deal 30 damage]*
2. Berdly throws much more papers, but some of them are crumpled, covered in ice and 2x faster. *[Each of them deals 25 damge]*
3. Berdly hugely reduces visibility, making it only visible around the soul. He prepares a long attack, casting a huge blizzard, slowly moving the soul with it, including fast snowlakes, ice shards and tornados going from left to right at a slight degree. *[Each of the bullets do 20-15 damage]*
3. Berdly wraps the fighting box in ice and moves it around with his axe while throwing papers at the player. *[Edge of the box deals 30 damage, papers deal 25]*
4. Berdly makes his axe spin fast in the middle of the fighting box clock-wise, while there are snowflakes rapidly coming from the middle in random directions. *[The axe deals 40 damage, snowflakes deal 20 damage each]*
5. Axe swings a random 1/3rd of the fighting box horizontally randomly, leaving tiny snowflakes targeting the player's soul. *[Axe deals 40 damage, snowflakes deal 20 each]*
6. Berdly does his axe-chain (sort of) attack, but twice at the same time. The spikes that are left from the attack home in on the soul for a split second. *[Getting hit by the axe chain from the front deals 50 damage, from the side - 35 damage. Each of the spikes deal 20 damage each]*
7. Berdly rapidly throws feathers (the lenght of about 2 souls) incased in a sharp, spiky, thick layer of ice directly at the soul, 10% of them being slightly faster and going in a slightly different angle. *[Each of them deal 40 damage]*
In the end he would kneel and say something like "All of this, and you're still alive..." "I hope people realise how rotten your soul is"
God, only if i could code... I have all of these attacks invisioned into my headd so vividly, it would make a great battle in my opinion...
Wait I have a new attack!! Blue icicles fall from the top while his ax swings at you. If you get hit your soul turns blue for 3 seconds, and slow down a little for the rest of the attack.

An idea: Berdly isn't Dead dead, but because you sealed the dark fountain and collapsed the cyber world with his soul frozen inside, he's basically braindead and his body is in a permanent coma. His soul Thaws in the empty darkness and he trains. He realizes what he fought wasn't Kris, but [US]. He knows [WE] won't stop and will return to the dark world. He has to be ready for us, so what happened to Noelle never happens again
This first part is basically canon since, monsters only die when they turn into dust
Imagine a last breath type of berdly, an unkillable knight who shines through the frozen ice stopping him. And Noelle has to freezes/trap him with ice so he's forever stuck inside ice, suffering.
This is probably the theme that plays if he inevitably comes back in another chapter after snowgrave
when you named your "Creation" Kris
(in Undertale, if you named yourself "Frisk", the game will entered Hardmode, so why not the same for Deltarune?)

cause the creation is a differant entity other than kris. edit: also your naming chara at the start of the game, so if chara is named frisk that would mean frisk is the first fallen human that has differant context than deltarune.
Because, in case you haven't noticed, in this world your choices don't matter.

Assuming we do end up getting the choice to kill someone each chapter. It would be awesome if on a second no mercy run each character you kill normally instead gets an extremely hard boss fight. Kinda like how undertale had different and harder fights on genocide.

When he does the stream of spikes that spikes come out of they’re ice and more spikes come out
While I admit ice berdly sounds cool, you would need heat to defrost berdly, so instead of "oh, well berdly was in I've, so his got ice powers now," something more like "Berdly is burning with rage, so much so that he starts actually burning, which melts the ice" because you're more likely to melt ice with fire than with more ice
This is pretty good, but I honestly feel like and “ice-related” theme doesn’t really fit him if he’s thawing out. I think something that would work better would a theme that had more intense instruments (maybe an electric guitar?) to show his anger at kris and that he thawed out, and also drums to make it feel more theatening (if you’ve heard “Smart Race but it drops harder” you’ll know what I mean) Other than that, I really like the starting part, but the main part could be a bit smoother. Final thoughts, sounds a bit too gameboy-ish to be a Toby fox theme, if that’s what you were going for. Something with a bit more transitional instruments definitely could make this sound official.
Berdly: (respawn)
Player: IMPOSSIBLE!
Moves:
Frozen Swipe: Unfrosted berdly unleashes, a giant swipe with his halberd, taking away 50 HP.
Multi Hail: He uses his halberd, as a projectile, it will then proceed to fire a large beam, just like the one when you normally fight him except, when it’s done there’s more projectiles at least 3 this deals 15 damage each hit.
Berdly’s missing papers: Berdly summons papers, except there more, and there missing papers, this deals 29 damage, each hit.
A Frozen fury: Berdly unleashes, a multiple waves, of frost, that deal 10 to 20 damage, this attack is unavoidable, only 3 or 2 of theses spawn.
There should be a mod for this fight
Berdly summons all your missing assignments printed out for each grade and then shows them to Toriel

Icicles: Shoots waves of icicles. Similar to Spamton Neo’s attack, theres only 1 space to avoid it.

I feel like Berdly's gonna be somewhat related to the next secret boss(I'm not saying he's the secret boss himself), and Berdly's fight will be very hard
Judging by the end of chapter 2, either only 3 lighteners will be in the darkworld, or the entire town will be in the darkworld, also everyone thinks the person Spamton mentions (mike) will be the next secret boss.
Even though Snowgrave probably won’t be mentioned that much in the future chapters, it’s still nice to think about a post-Snowgrave Berdly fight.

Then Berdly says
"I'm not done with you yet."
Then cuts your soul into sixteenths instead of a half.
Imagine this scenario:
You decided to do the Snowgrave route, but then you change your mind when fighting Berdly. Rather then using Snowgrave, you use Iceshock to abort the run, however something odd happens: A cutscene plays where Noelle uses Iceshock and leaves Berdly to low HP, he is almost frozen, and *REALLY* pissed at Kris, why? Because he realized you were manipulating Noelle so that she would “get stronger”, and actually starts only focusing on you, using stronger versions of his attacks. However, he is still at low HP, meaning that you can kill him with a few hits.
There are 3 ways to end the route:
Way 1: Pacifist.
You must let Kris die on purpose. Kris doesn’t actually die but instead faints, Berdly takes Noelle away and goes back to Queen’s castle. The Snowgrave route gets aborted.
Way 2: No Mercy
After hitting Berdly a few times, he gets knocked out. Noelle heals him and he eventually wakes up and runs away. The Snowgrave route gets aborted.
Way 3: “Snowgrave”
Now, there is still a way to continue the Snowgrave route, and that is using Iceshock on Berdly again. When you command her to use the spell, she hesitates a few times, but after a while she uses it and Berdly actually freezes.
Noelle, shocked of what she did, runs away to Queen’s castle.
Fun Fact:
If you choose the pacifist path against Berdly Phase 2, you take the faster way to the Queen’s castle, that is the sewers, however everything will be almost the same in the normal route except a few changes in dialouge.

Tons more dialogue ideas for Frozen Berdly (or Brrrdly as I call him) since people like them and I had a few ideas.
*The air fryer beckons.
*Cook this one a bit longer.
*Your bitrate is roaring.
*Computer fans hum around you.
*Looks like someone needs to chill.
*Berdly stares you down.
*Debirdination.
*Cutting class again.
*Halbird is howling.
*Berdly's face is locking up.
*You have no spine. It shivers anyway.
*Either Berdly cracked a smile, or his smile is cracking.
*Smells like Thanksgiving.

once noelle uses the weaker snowgrave berdly will be on low hp but his attacks would get even harder to dodge because he realizes that this isnt kris thats giving noelle orders, its you.
he could use his halberd to deflect attacks or use them against you

he can’t respawn if he never dies to respawn, just freeze him again :)

Most probably Berdly still alive, he dont become dust in the ligthworld, he has 1800 HP, but Noelle make 1000 damage (aprox), but maybe he is in a specie of coma, traped in the cyber world
When dead monsters go into a coma before turning to dust
For now he's a corpse, and will soon be dust
SnowGrave is almost 2000 damage though
Deltarune might work differently drom Undertale, Monsters might leave dead bodies instead of dust here
