it certainly is one of the better Glacier Bay HET's in performance but that bowl rinse is absolutely awful! Still a "Trash Bay" due to that non-existent bowl rinse and it gets a 4/10!
Maybe I'm missing something here but wouldn't the bowl be cleaned alot better if you had the fill valve's hose going into the bowl rinse/overflow tube like they usually do instead of just shooting it into the tank? Also if the hose was going into the bowl rinse/overflow tube it would also fill the bowl higher and help correct the problem you stated of "the bowls water level is too low."
The overflow pipe goes to the same place as all the rest of the water so unfortunately that wouldn't help. Even though I have the refill tube outside of the overflow pipe, I add water to the bowl after every test so it is at the correct level.
Huh, i know that if a toilets fill valve is not shutting off and the level gets too high in the tank it runs over into the overflow tube you can tell it by seeing it running down out of the rim jets. So my thinking is all the time that tank is flushing and refilling and water is shooting out of the fill valves rubber hose into the overflow tube some of that water shooting into the overflow tube would be coming out of the rim jets and helping to clean the bowl, that is if the tube from the fill valve was actually in the overflow tube and held in place with the clip thing like they do.Also that extra water would add to the bowl level so you wouldn't have to add any water to make it the proper level.
Why not just have the hose in the tube like its done normally, then there is no doubt that it is as it would be as intended from the manufacturer. I don't understand why you have it going into the tank in the first place. To test something it should be as it would be in someones home with the hose going into the overflow tube.
I have this toilet but I don't wanted to be in my house but my dad installed for some reason I'm just gonna ask my dad to replace it by american standard toilet
The two 1975 kohler wellworth toilets that were in my church aera have gotten replaced by this glacier bay HET toilets because of the pipe leakage at the bottom so they fixed the pipe up and then they had to replace unfortunately for no resson…. Theses toilets were fine. Gosh man you CHOULD had have them this happened about 5 weeks ago from now Do you wish you had them?
I want one of these, If I did I would fill the tank up WAY more. I noticed that those tanks tend to have super small water lines. My glacier bay which is now at my dads work has the exact same water line.
Needs to have a hand held bidet wand for the bowl rinse...
Yeah, because the bowl rinse on these is useless.
My aunt have this that reminds me of this video, no problems with it.
Quite impressive
Idk if it should be a High efficiency toilet if it takes 7 flushes to clear the bowl
It's not, it's very inefficient.
I want it I’ve never had one before
They're terrible
Love the commentary on the bowl rinse! My old PL was exactly this in terms of rinse.
Glad you got rid of that old thing
A literal class 5 Kohler copy
Yeah, but worse.
Hey bud! Wonderful tests with glacier bay. The dirt test was awful but yet needed some ooomf to flush all stuff down. Nice of you to give it away.
Thanks! I think I smashed this one.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations lol oof
I have this same toilet in my backyard
Is it any good?
I use to have this type of glacier bay I think. The bowl rinse was never that bad, rim jets could possibly be blocked.

It seems like the older ones are a lot better. Once they started making them in Mexico, the quality declined.

Maybe you can find a better one on Facebook Marketplace or something
This toilet needs to be punished especially with a bowling ball.
True
I always do pranks with toilets in the always work that’s why I always watch the channel ichannel
I've done some pranks with toilets too lol
Great toilet but Owen I have some bad news It’s also disappointing
What happened?

I didn't know these had now rinse lol
I give it a 8 out of 10.
1.5/10 for dirt
For some reason it looks like it ripped off the Cimarron class 5.
It did.

These are everywhere in Texas
Texas? That's my home state where I was born in.
flush rating is an F
performance rating is an A
bowl rinse is a🖕
Typical Glacier Bay
I’ll like the video if I like the performance rating but I don’t like the flush!
Flush Rating E-
Performance Rating A
This has the worst bowl rinse ever!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, it's horrible
I give it a zero out of ten. Its the boul rinse, its like a wellworth lite, but the performance is nice but not perfect
I think if they paired that trapway with a better flush, it could be decent
Ewwwwww this toilet is awful I hate glacier bay toilets except the power flush
I hate most GBs
That bowl rinse is a huge joke!
What bowl rinse?
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations when It did horribly on the bowl rinse test
@@s.e.a.plumbing3092 Ikr it has no bowl rinse.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations yup

Wellworth rip-off
Garbage Bay strikes again
