Norman Reedus on ‘Triple 9’, ‘The Walking Dead’ and Being Tackled by His Fans

- With director John Hillcoat’s (Lawless) Triple 9 now in theaters, I recently sat down with Norman Reedus for an extended video interview. During our wide-ranging conversation he talked about working with the all-star cast, memorable moments from filming, collaborating with Hillcoat, filming in Atlanta, some of his diehard fans, how his acting process has changed during his career, what people would be surprised to learn about the making of The Walking Dead, and a lot more.
If you haven’t seen any of the trailers, Triple 9, scripted by Matt Cook, follows an interconnected web of thieves and corrupt officers who plan to murder a cop in order to draw attention away from the heist they’ll be pulling on the other side of town. The film features an all-star cast made up of Reedus, Aaron Paul, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, KateWinslet, Anthony Mackie, Gal Gadot, Teresa Palmer, and Norman Reedus.

I love Norman, love to watch his interviews, see his little snapshots of his life, he sounds like a really cool guy I think he's fantastic at what he does (his art alongside his acting)it's all very interesting from this side but I do feel bad that he's overwhelmed by his fanbase and it effects his life. Being famous is very much a double edged sword.

This is one movie where the cast is actually drawing me to it. It's got like an actor here and an actor there from all my favourite tv shows and another one or two from a Marvel movie here or there.

+New Theory It caught him off guard, the question was about his schedule and he said he'll be back to shooting next year. Since people who die don't have to film anymore there's a good chance he won't die this season finale. But yeah, it's just a good chance

I enjoyed this interview and the questions/answers.
Yea, he said he was coming back to TWD, but that could mean anything. Like finishing the filming of his death reveal in the S7 premiere, by the hands of Negan. I really believe S6's finale will end on the cliffhanger of Lucille coming down toward the camera, as in the victim's (Daryl's) point of view and then we won't get the reveal until S7's premiere. I'd much rather know before the long break obviously, but this is one of my predictions. If not him, then Morgan's my second guess, since I don't see Lennie James sticking around with this gig long term.

Huge respect for Norman Reedus, doing these kinds of interviews for us internet junkies but be a shame if he saw your (COLLIDER TV) reviews of the show TWD especially the finale where you just completely insulted everything about the show....still good work on this. :)

just because he says he's NOT dying doesn't mean he's telling the truth. maybe him saying that he's living is something he has to say because he cannot reveal his fate.. so we don't really know until we watch the season finale. plus you never know robert kirkman, scott m. gimple, and the producers like to fuck with us change the story around :))

this was filmed in February of this year TWD aired on the 14th. Season 6 is already done filming which means he didn't go back and film the rest of season 6 he's gonna go back and film for season 7. wooohooo he's not dying I'm so excited I cannot wait. they cant kill a major character like Daryl TWD will lose thousands of fans. they would be crazy to kill him.. I have a huge feeling Carol is gonna die that's gonna be the shocker kill besides Carol dies in the comics and her daughter Sofia is still alive. so it could be Carol

Definitely could be a flashback or vision(s) stemming from(Carol,Rick). Norman could not avoid mentioning coming back next year for TWD. If he didn't mention coming back then fans would be saying "Omg he didn't mention coming back!". lol. We'll see.
I personally think they should deviate on the big Negan death in order to make a "new" story. As opposed to the Maggie coming to power in hilltop. IMO if the writers made it Carol coming to power in the hilltop it would be much better.
Carol coming to power would initially put her at odds with Rick. That would be AWESOME seeing as how Rick kicked her out of the prison for simply protecting the group from the flu sickness.
Honestly though the writers most likely kept it Glenn. It's sad and predictable but money is king for Hollywood.
+Joshua Rundels I think it's better if it's Glenn, anyway, or another more vulnerable character. Having Negan kill off Darryl doesn't seem like it will resonate as much (except with the female fans) because he's such a fearless, strong character. It won't be as shocking. (IMO, at least)
+James Haygreen or season 6 finale will be introducing negan but didn't kill anyone and it's a cliffhanger so season 7 episode 1 will be the death of a main char

i think roman is once again, tricking is fans ahahaha, like last season when he said to bring tissues and nothing happen. Killing Daryl in the season finale would be more tragic then actually waiting for season 7 and kill him there but will see in the season finale.
