Here are a couple theories on the summer isles
1 they have a complete map of the know world
2 they made up a bunch b.s about Sothoryos to protect animals like the little valyrian , wyverns or a race of natives on the continent
3 there are more islands south of the summer isles
4 either the summer islanders or the race they're protecting on Sothoryos have tamed wyverns
5 the summer isles, braavos , sarnor , rhoynar, ghsicari , qaathi ,yi ti , asshai ,all caused the doom of valyria to get rid of the most powerful empire the andals being excluded as they aren't cool with the Dark arts
6 the summer islander have set up secret outpost and port cities west of westeros and are trying to quietly colonize it .
7 Nettles mother was a summer islander its never specified what race she is all we know is that she was a dockside whore plus black prostitutes aren't new to asoiaf there was Chataya.
8 The valyians thing is fire magic
The rhoynars thing is water magic
The children of the forest thing is greenseeing
The white walkers thing is ice magic
The summer islanders/naathi thing must be empathic magic which explains there reverence of sex and why they're so peaceful .
I always wondered why GRR wrote mentioned (in passing) Xho? Why such a character would be introduced in the first place? His 'story' isn't germane to the epic, nor does he contribute anything to the narrative plots and schemes we have been privy to. That being said, could he be of more importance than we thought?
He's always, in court, had the 'ear' of Robert and was privy to the palace politics, yet his machinations [begging] would appear as a lowly attempt by a foolish ex-monarch. I ask, what would have happened if Robert had invaded? Wouldn't that have left the kingdom vulnerable to an invasion itself? Wouldn't that be just what Varys would have wanted?

He uploaded all five books, read by himself, and he's quite good. The first few chapters are a little rough in audio quality, but it gets much better, to the point of professional, the more he reads

I would really love it if you took on the (f)Viserys theory which was omitted from those videos. It is my favorite current alternative theory . . . that we met the Dragonstone village royal decoy in GAME as (f)Aegon wasn't the first false Targaryen we book readers have encountered!! Please do another video on alt theories because no one else does them like you do . . . and I am 75% sure that like the blue hair dye washed out for Young Griff that the midnight black hair dye will wash out for the Darkstar!! Queen Rhaella did NOT spend the entirety of her 9 month pregnancy on Dragonstone just knitting baby blankets if you catch my meaning ;)

I don’t like how small the summer isles are or their location. Also I just realized it makes no sense for the Valyrians to explore Sothoryos but not Westeros.
One thing GOT shows is that no conquering culture, no matter how high above the "general population" they hold themselves will ever remain totally apart from the people they rule. Every culture that conquered or migrated to westeros was absorbed into its culture, adapted and warped by the march of time and tide.

@@LadyBeyondTheWall The show race-swapped pale skinned ethnically Valyrian/qartheen people into black. Not to mention they fucked the story up so it’s not an accurate representation of the ASOIAF universe.

Are there any "magical" intelligent races in this world, aside from the Whitewalkers & Children of the Forest? By that I mean Elves, Dwarves & the like
As we get further east, there are more nonhumans and possibly magical races.
