Not only is she an amazing singer songwriter but she has been through so much. In her late teens-early twenties she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and then only a few years ago she had surgery to remove some polyps or nodules on her vocal chords and sustained some nerve damage that left her requiring over a year of speech therapy to learn to speak and make certain sounds again. And this was written and sung after all of that. Incredible. Not just a pretty face.
I only really know Delta from The Voice Australia. She seems like such a lovely person. I'm not familiar with her music, but after watching this, I love her voice!!

Delta is a phenomenal talent and a really good person. Delta is a musician as well and any of the piano work you hear, such as on this song, is her playing. She has just been asked by Shania Twain to be part of Twain's UK tour, which Delta accepted. She finished a tour with the Back Street Boys in 2022. Heavy is my favourite of her songs.
Delta is one of our best!!!

Delta is an Aussie, she has been massive since her first song "Born to Try" which premiered on the Aussie soap Neighbours which she was an actress in back in 2002

A child actor, a teenage cancer survivor, lost all her hair (hence her mane of hair) a failed throat operation that left her with no voice at all and she had to learn to speak again then sing again, you've got to watch her play the piano and sing at the same time it's just on another level
There was an INCREDIBLE live performance of most of the Born To Try album back when it first came out on Channel V, still one of the BEST love shows.
