      It will eat all the hermit crabs and snails because hermit crabs barely breed in the aquarium. Snails also breed way way way less in a saltwater reef

    Puffer Will eat the snails if he can Flip them over or crack the shells. Mine love eating snails. Keep up the good work.

      Puffers tend to be aggressive to other fish. That poses a problem with the grouper tho, those shrimps and hermit crabs.

      The puffer fish will eat them before they will be ready to be rehomed how else will they keep there teeth trimmed

    Don't forget to add some empty shells of different size for the hermit crabs, coz as they grow they move into bigger shells.
    Just seen you have a puffer, there not going to live long enough to grow lol.

    Hey nick you should go to an island with a long handled minnow net. Find a grassy area. Scrape the bottom really fast for like 20 feet and. Use the things you catch like file fish, pistol shrimp. Small pinfish , gobies , crabs herder crabs etc. But if you catch any sea horses you should release them it's the right thing to do

    Most people add the snails solely for the purpose of feeding their puffers. They need the shells to grind down their beaks. Hopefully some survive to help clean!

    Hey nick! Another very efficient way to catch those little ghost shrimps is to drag a net along floating docks were the barnacles and seaweed are, you’ll catch tons!

    Hey nick it is super cool u are collecting all these little crabs, but make sure u put more shells in the tank because hermit crabs will grow out of their shell and need a new one! Great vid

    Awesome video Nick, the new Puffer Fish is awesome,feed the Puffer Fish with clams,I noticed the Puffer Fish's beak is big,puffer fish beak continuously growing until the puffer can't eat and die of starvation,so feed the Puffer with clams so it can trim it's beak,you can feed the Puffer Fish with live fish,but feed it some clams sometimes

    For the hermit crabs you should put empty shells in the tank that are bigger than they are now, so when they get big they can change shells 🐚

    Nicely done and a great shoutout on how you will recycle the snails into the environment when your aquarium count exceeds what it can support. :() I think the crabs will need new shells at some point - I guess you buy those off Amazon or in a pet store. Can you sprinkle them on the bottom for them to pick? When will you know to get them new shells?
