Hi Matt. First of all, nice jam. I've been going over a few of yours. Now, do you know if it is possible to use the MX12 to control both a Rytm and an Analog 4? From this video I'm getting the idea of letting go of the mixer for live performances and just using an MX12 to mix by mapping faders to tracks volume (and more) on both Elektron machines. Thanks! :)
Hey Guido, Thanks a lot! I appreciate your comment. Well this idea really comes into mind when you see my set. Unfortunatelly you cant use single channels to map onto individual midi commands. So you arent able to control two different machines on one controller. But, you can load preset modes into the faderfox to control individual things like pan, volume, sends for a single elektron machine. So if you have different machines you need to mix them in the traditional way with an extra mixer. All best, Matt
Hey good morning Matt, Im a newbee in making electronic music and i need your advice. I am using a Analog Rytm too, such as other synthezicer. To route all devices im using a Mackie Onyx 1640 because it owns 6 Aux-Channels. I can send the audio signal to each FX and back to stay a maximum of flexibility but the disadvantage is, that the mixer takes a lot of space in my setup and i dont need the upper part of the mixer during live performance. I hope me english is clear enough and you can help me. Greetings from Germany, John
not that much. Some delay in ableton and reverb, thats it. Normally I produce some beats with this setup and so I have enough free faders and potis for quick MIDI assignments
Hey Seth. Its a really cool controller. It works very well, is high quality and has a lot of midi possibilities. But I dont use them a lot. Mostly I love the metal finish. That fits great between other instruments and feels/looks better than plastic =)
This is a dope beat
Hella beeeeetz bro. Tanzbar!!!!

Good stuff, enjoyed listening to this.
Thanks a lot Manos
NIce sound & your comments a nice touch :)
