Thanks for the great video -- few things to add - the Annke is way better running in color mode in twilight conditions. Is provides color view up to almost complete darkness, while the Reolink is not good at all in that perspective, and switches to IR just when it gets a little dim. A real PLUS of the reolink is, it can automatically switch from IR to whitelight supplemental light in the night when it detects movement. Thats a major plus, the Annke can only do fix what you have configured, or on a schedule. In Frigtate, the Annke also performs much better for me, while the Realink Duo is known for providing lots of disturbance and artefacts for some unknown reason. Also, even though the Reolink claims a higher pixel count, the Annke is providing a much clearer and more detailed video, not just a bit imho. Therefor I think the Reolink pixel count is a little polished up or the optics suk. My conclusion, as Annke is Hikvision in the end, it is a more professional thing, while the Reolink is more consumer grade. Also to mention, the Annke has controllable in/outputs for alarm triggering etc., and the Annke also provide a whole bunch of audio encoding formats to choose from, which might become important if you want to record audio to a NVR. Also to mention, the Annke support is really responsive an helpful. I tend to switch to Annke for all my stuff.

Artefacts from Reolink videos have also been reported in Blue Iris .. some suggest this could be due to iFrames and Reolink's issues with compatibility of standards.

Thanks for the video. Would have been nice to compare the night vision with and without the IR

I replaced turrets cameras by two Reolink Duo 2, all linked to my Synology NAS. In general this is far better and I love it but there is a big problem with the Reolink: The RTSP is bugged. For most of us, RTSP stream is not fluid, frames drops every 2 to 4 seconds, there is some artifacts, etc.
No problem with RTMP stream but... no RTMP for the main stream, only for the substream.
I hesitate to try the Annke to test if it's RTSP is better...

Another great video, loved the gardening sound effects. As a newbie to security it would be really interesting to see how a Synology NAS works with a reolink camera. What’s the differences with wired and wireless and how does the Synology software work with the cameras, do you still use reolinks own software or just synology’s. Probably sounds daft, but I’m probably not the only one watching and wondering.

On the Reolink, are you saying its POE and WIFI capable? What is the purpose of the LAN cable connection if its WIFI?

There are 2 different versions, Wifi and POE. You need to buy the version you are going to use.
