Hey I want to know if you ever did a smaller bunker in a yard that noone noticed installed. Could you do it like In prefab partitions so that it was truly secret? That's the only one anyone should have. Here in Fla we gave moisture issues...and every installation elevated tax and us public record...what do you do about that?

I work for a company in Australia called Wagners CFT that specializes in composite fiber technology , an alternative to steel structural members. Doesnt rot, burn and is ALOT lighter, could be a cool alternative to using steel for your structures. We mainly do bridges, boardwalks, light poles and power line cross arms but just recently did prefab frames for a job. Matter a fact we have plans to open a factory in USA in the future so hopefully you guys will get to see a lot more of this awesome material.

Too bad you don’t do more domestic housing products , with so many over engineered homes now l could see your product used as portal frames as a substitute for steel .

I’ll try to work it into our addition & remodel. That hatch is no joke! Any benefit to spraying the exterior of the bunker with expanding foam insulation prior to burying it? What about a non conductive rubber exterior coating? You never know where lightning may strike…just saying 🍻👍🏻👊🏻🇺🇸

The shocks are installed upside down. I’ve made this mistake before. Oil and pressurized gas are inside the shock. Gravity keeps oil off the seal while upside down allowing the seal to dry out and leak gas pressure. When installed correctly oil keeps the seal from drying out and prevents the pressure from leaking out.

So why lay flat doors vs doors at a 35-45° angle like cellar doors? Do you have a secondary or tertiary in case something like part of the building lands on top of the door or somebody places something on the top of the exit door?

does atlas ever install a horizontal hatch? What if I wanted to have a bomb shelter door be horizontal and set into the side wall of a concrete basement, is that feasible?
