Proud of her. I'm reminded of my previous German Boss who made very bad comment concerning us Africans . I happened to be the recruiter at the time and she instead told the asst HR (An Aussie) to take over recruitment of a restaurant that had Africans and hire those from europe..
It's how she said it that irked me. "The restaurant is dark, There are so many monkeys working there"
I took it upon myself and demanded and explanation to that statement. She apologize and kept on asking me not to report her but I did.
And again God never sleeps.. They went and spend so much to hire a group from Europe who had to be terminated barely after a month because they couldn't deal with the work demand. God can never be mocked
He created us all in His image

I was a temporary worker at NHS research unit. I did extraordinarily well. A permanent position came up for a CTA. I should have known something was wrong when that job was posted externally. I felt confident until I entered the interview room. I knew one of the women on the panel did not like me and I knew I was not going to get the job. A couple of days later, she was the one who informed me I was unsuccessful. The email specifically stated to ask for feedback and when I did, I never got a response. She is now leaving that position. I truly felt it was a set up. She knew she was leaving and looking for other roles. I am still upset at the situation because why would you reject a candidate though that candidate has proven to be professional and dependable? Either way, it is what it is because that is not the career God has for me. I will trust in God's authority and no one else's.

I have been working for the NHS since 2014 as a CSW whilst studying full time qualified as an adult registered Nurse in 2017. Let me tell you all something I have experienced racism in and outside of the NHS and is currently affecting my confidence level I am a brilliant Nurse with so many qualities, skills values and attributes despite been well experienced, adaptable, compassionate and flexible unfortunately I have not been recognised and appreciated to the level or match my level of skills.
I feel frustrated and disappointed with the current leadership and culture the NHS is shifting to….

I hate the way complaints of racism (or sexual harassment) all too often just vanish into an abyss - and then it's the victim's fault for not being able to get the system to hear them. (I am of the opinion that the complaints systems are deliberately convoluted and opaque to prevent people making complaints.)

Nanelle. This is absolutely disgraceful. How can this language be used by senior members of her department?!
I'm really appalled to hear story like this. But they do exist and need to be spread to stratosphere so that people understand that they are not alone and it is very real.
Racism in the UK is rife but its much worse when it affects how you earn your money. There needs to be a way to shield people from those who are racist.
They can have their narrow views but it needs to be contained. The other person should be able to go to work and earn irrespective of how the other adults feel about their disposition.
    It needs to be blocked.

  • @Ruby_Villain

Everyone and everything is racist, yeah yeah, we get it whatever. “Racist”/“racism” doesn’t mean jack anymore and has no political/personal power over anyone. Calling something racist when it is not, only reveals weakness within yourself.
