Do it ofter if it rains ofter and trim less if not much rain 3. At some point some grass will go to seed collect the seed so you don’t need to buy 4. You only rake once or twice a year spring / autumn while you remove dead grass you also damage healthy ones

Taking care of the garden really occupy most of your time and energy. After spending lots of money on machinery, different kind of seeds, varies components of soil, nutrients, I admit I am a failure. If I have the money like CoCo Gar, I would have hired a company taking care of it regularly. Just like when you go to a high class restaurant, the aquarium is always stunning, which is not maintained by the restaurant. But if you enjoy delving into garden art, that will be another story.
I leave a little bit of the grass clipping on my lawn. this helps the grass to retain its moisture. Also the dead grass will release some nutrition back to the soil when they decompose.
Raking is very tiring. Buy a raking machine, looks like a mower, dethatcher. Buy one comes with 2 attachments, one for dethatching another for scarifier blade. I have also tried seeding, but it really doesn't work. One, seeds are easily snapped up by birds, another reason is that it takes proper nutrients to grow, you cannot just scatter seeds on the surface. Instead I recommend replacing dead grass areas with sod. They are cheap and have instant result.
All your flower pots should be able to drain. If the water stays in the pot, it will rot the roots. Lavendar is very easy to grow if you plant in the ground. The best location is the sunny spot and remember to cut down the plant to just couple inches left or above the woody part.
ever heard of low maintenance landscaping? Reduced labor, smaller carbon footprints due to less use of power tools, using less fertilizers, etc...translate to lower costs.

最初設計花園，要知道自己及家人有沒有知識時間和興趣去整理草地，你們這大片草地有無安裝自動噴水係統，我在美國請園丁每月兩次來剪草打理後花園，一年施肥兩次，只是$80美元一個月，要是出門亦不需要擔心花 園無人整理

種草好多功夫又要淋水，落肥料，買藥殺野草，淋唔夠水又變黃，淋得水多又要成日剪， Coco哥繼續努力💪

舖石或人造草的問題是吸熱快散熱慢. 再者人造草會將動物的排洩物味吸咗.
每個月要施肥，水濟的肥料；无臭味，圓藝店或大形五金鋪有售。
英國D剪草工具都幾貴。加拿大原來都算平。但係淋水，fertilizer 都重要，仲有唔同季節Fertilizer 都唔同，有時要打草根，加Lime, 唔，真係好多嘢做，唔怪之得成日唔得閒！
汽油剪草機隔兩三個星期要開機用一用佢，太耐唔用好難撻得著部機，到時拉到火都嚟埋
結論係 買架貴價電油剪草機再比錢搵人嚟剪😀
頭幾年幾好玩嘅，再多幾年你會想換曬鋪磚地唔要草一勞永逸，慳水慳錢慳力慳心機😢

個自動剪草機幾好，仲應該可以嚇走狐狸?
狐狸怕大蒜和辣椒味(將它們煲水灑在牠們出末地方，藉此嚇唬狐狸。

草地啲草唔可以太短。剪草機應該一早買，剪草要一條直線每項重疊兩三吋，咁至靚。

氣候比較涼的地區，可以考慮鋪假草。我以前住三藩市唸住鋪草，天氣凍草生唔好。我老公本身覺得真草高級D。但後來終於向現實低頭，鋪咗假草一勞永逸，好打理，冬天有枯葉，我老竇用吸塵機吸，D女又玩得開心、唔使泥扮扮。強力推薦👍

草的质量不好，因该用高尔夫球场那种高质量的草坪， 或者最好的方法是放弃草原，直接埔地砖，又美观又方便，但是要扫地，也好过要剪草。

Paver is lot better, cost more up front, but long time you save more money and time. Paver will let the water sip thru no less flooding issue

將英式transform 日式庭園，可以舖灰白色粗砂粒和種植慢長松樹將草地面積減一半以上，尤其在沒有陽光地舖砂粒。

这草不适合种植在家后院，一般是种在公园内，意思就是人耒人往草也不会谢而且更漂亮，在家后yeah 应该种那种爬行生长的草种。
