Spastic Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy : surgery & intensive training give excellent recovery

Most of the time, Hemiplegic Spastic Cerebral Palsy affected children will be an independent walker. These children can have very little problems in gait to severe disability. They can have contracture in the lower limb but in the upper limb most of the time they will have a functional problem but in some children, these children can have a multilevel problem in the hip, knee & ankle.
In the upper limb, they can have a non-functioning hand with very poor coordination and very weak muscle. Tendon transfer along with occupational therapy helps a lot in getting a good outcome in the upper limb problem in cerebral palsy.
