  • Cerebral Palsy children need detailed assessment. some children need therapy and brace only but others require surgery followed by intensive treatment.
Crouch gait, commonly observed in individuals with cerebral palsy, is marked by excessive knee bending during walking, impacting movement and stability. If untreated, crouch gait can deteriorate over time.
Given the pre-existing muscle weakness in cerebral palsy, muscles may weaken further post-surgery. Thus, minimizing muscle lengthening procedures is advisable, particularly in cases of crouch gait with tight hamstrings, where muscle transfer is preferred over lengthening.
The child featured in this video traveled from Bangladesh seeking improvement. Following surgery, he received intensive therapy at Trishla Foundation.in this video, the child needs surgery followed by intensive therapy and a brace. in three months he had an excellent recovery.

@@RAGHAVVLOG02 if done around 14-16 year age it is permanent one except when you dont do exercises at all in that case it may bend slightly while walking because of weak muscles
