For me personally, I can say I came for the 9-5 content but stayed for the gal! You could post literally anything and I’d watch it now, your personality is fun and I can relate a lot to your life, so it’s nice to see what other people my age are getting up to outside of work.

I've stayed because we've consistently been in the same phase of life since I found you in college, and it's honestly so calming to be able to watch somebody else experiencing similar things/thoughts at the same time! Struggling with work/life balance is something I'm also currently navigating, so I would be interested to see different things you try in that regard and what works for you (e.g., taking daily walks, no tech after a certain time, plans with friends a certain number of times per week, etc.).
i think my next vlog is going to be entirely dedicated to that!!!

The reason I like this channel is because I like seeing how you lived in a small space, dealt with a busy 9-5, minimalism apartment tours, coffee runs, and of course Leo the cat. X ( oh and make-up declutters - loved them !!)

It's your channel you should definitely post whatever you want! I love your work vlogs but it would be amazing to see what you do outside of work as well! I've always struggled with a work/life balance so i'd love to see how you take time away from your job. We're all here for YOU and not just your job :) I'd honestly watch anything you post! 💕

I personally like watching your channel because you're a "part time" creator who does have a real 9-5 job. I don't watch your videos for content explicitly about work. I like supporting part-time creators because you're more relatable, rather than people who only make youtube videos for a living (and are usually out of touch with reality).

I totally understand you wanting to create more separation between vlogging and your job. Like others said, your content will still be much more relevant to us because you still *have* a 9-5 (even if we’re not seeing it). Sometimes it’s hard watching people who don’t have to think about that balance and scheduling. You create amazing videos, and we’ll be here with you as you and the videos evolve 💕

Go ahead and create whatever boundaries you need to have peace of mind. I started watching for DC lifestyle content since I hope to live there soon. So I'm fine with before work/after work activities. But you do whatever feels the most comfortable for you. We're drawn to your personality and authenticity.
I’ve been a subscribers since the dorm tour era so a change in content is fine for me. I’m not from the DC area or live in a city so that stuff specifically is not entirely my vibe but will still always watch!

Honestly I watch to see the city, I live in Mexico so is very different and beautiful. I like routine dynamic videos just as an inspiration to bring structure to my routines. Not necessary to copy but sometimes you get new ideas from watching other people.
I think I originally started following you for the 9-5 content but I stayed because I enjoyed your videos overall. Film whatever makes you happy! I know it can be hard to balance the work/life balance. It is also a huge pet peeve if people are consistently/intentionally late. I do my best to not be late myself because it irritates me.
I definitely understand the need to put up firmer boundaries between your channel and your 9-5. If you move into more DC-centric content, I'd love to hear about local restaurants and other places you like to visit. I work really close to where you often film and would be delighted to find more non-chain restaurants/bars for lunches, happy hours, etc.
I love your videos Amy I have been having a lot of growing pains as well. I highly agree that it is just part of being in your mid twenties. I struggle with words when I need to have a difficult conversation with someone because I never want to offend or hurt someone. I also struggle with caring so much about what others think of me which is definitely hard to get over . It’s hard being a people pleaser.
I moved away from DC at the end of my 20s and I come to your channel for nostalgic purposes! I love your filming style, too! ❤

I enjoy your content and have been watching your videos for some time now not realizing I haven't subscribed yet, lol. I remediated that now. But tbh, I enjoy more of your content that is more outside your 9-5 job like your APT tours, hauls, coffee runs, cat appearance (which there should be more of bc Cats rule!!!), but anything you put out is enjoyable and I will continue to watch. Omg… being late is a huge pet peeve for me. I agree it’s hard to keep boundaries between your work and not work life, I work in the service industry and I love all my coworkers, and they always want to hang out and do stuff together. But I’m more introverted and feel like I need my own alone time, but I don’t want to offend or hurt anyone’s feelings…

What about just a fairly simple shift in that rather than calling it "work week in my life" you call it "week in my life". The focus shifts to a more general view rather than all about your work life. That way you could incorporate DC content, home content and also still involve generic worklife rather than honing in on your specific job and company (to be honest I'm not so interested in that but more enjoy the routine of work week videos!) Hope this makes some degree of sense !
I did originally find you from the 9-5 content but I feel like it’s totally reasonable to “block out” work from a daily vlog. Even seeing the lifestyle around having a 9-5 fits that audience without actually showing anything at work. Just seeing vlogs from someone who has to do normal things like get up and get ready for work is different than so many vloggers.
My door jammed for a bit the other day. It was because the keychain was too heavy. That moment of panic was real.
