Hay Canes employee here the sauce is very polarizing some people like it some people don’t. On the whole topic about who knows how to make it. It’s not like Coca-Cola where they have separate people it’s made in House every day. Funny seeing one of my favorite TH-camrs do a Mukbang about where I work. 😂
Ex canes manager, BRI DOG is correct!!! The fishy taste is from the Worcestershire sauce in the sauce. I would say canes taste way better down in Louisiana and Texas, mainly from the south bc I have no idea why lol. I’m from Dallas tho and all the canes in the DFW are really solid.
Made by a different manager morning and night in a large bucket and then literally pumped into cups by a random employee. I'm laughing about the toast as they should have done butter both sides to make it softer and more moist.
while it is mayo-based, it's a more complex blend with added ingredients like ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and a significant amount of black pepper, giving it a tangy, slightly spicy flavor Key points about Cane's sauce: Base ingredients: Primarily mayonnaise and ketchup. Distinctive flavors: Tangy, slightly sweet, and peppery due to the added Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
to answer the Crinkle cut chip / fries question, I remember KFC used to have Crinkle cut chips / fries at some point(the 70's or 80's maybe) But somewhere down the line they said no more crinkle. Who's dumb business idea was it to cut out the crinkle!
2:40 Arby's also has crinkle cut fries (chips) and also Braum's (this is a regional fast food place, if anyone knows it) has really good crinkle cut fries. They even make a chili cheese fries that's pretty good
So crinkle fries/chips just recently a few years ago were added to Arby's menu and an American food branch called Culver's, for culver's it's their main fry, the Sonic Drive-In where live just started recently doing crinkles over regular fries
for the sauce i think its supposed to be, mayo based, with ketchup, heinz i think, then pepper corn, then pepprika, fish oil, 1tea spoonWorcestershire sauce for every 3prts of mayo and ketchup, then onion and garlic powder depending on how tangy u make it, usually half a tea spoon at a time. the more fluid it becomes holds shape less like mayo and more like ketchup. far as the chicken goes its supposed to be boiled first lightly then dried, then lightly coated in batter and then deep fried cooked at 370 for like 8-10mins suppsed to have internal temp of 160-170F the batter itself im not sure, i dont remember that far back.
There are other fast food places that do crinkle fries, Dairy Queen/ Burger King/ Arbys(or Wendy’s because they are pretty much the same thing) it’s usually a midwestern type of veriety since we like more options and variety in terms of foods available in fast food depending on the chain, and as most fast food chefs the taste differs on the chef, the time, and when you get it because some chefs have the experience and knowledge to good taste
Brian I definitely agree I don’t know why Texas toast is included.. ig it’s for a homestyle/country kind of look or if you want to make a little chicken sandwich
Glad to see you boys enjoying the other Louisiana chicken place im proud to see a place that started right down the road from my home town the birthplace of Tabasco slowly becoming a popular worldwide chan 🎉
in america i get a caniac combo remove the slaw for a extra toast and a lemonade and or coke if im really hungry or a box combo with a extra toast if im slightly hungry
So in the South East area of the United States, there is a place called Zaxby's that have crinkle cut fries. Imo, they're like Raising Cane's, but for the South. They have seasoned fries and zax sauce. I personally prefer it over Raising Cane's, but I like the bread better than the toast at Zaxby's.
The recipe (The one that I know) for the cane sauce is mayonnaise ketchup white vinegar salt pepper Cajun seasoning garlic powder I believe onion powder I can't fully remember
if you want to know why I personally believe the food tastes different from location to location, and time to time, is because of the kitchen situation. It could be that they could have the same recipe and ingredients, but people make it a different way depending on the chef. And, shockingly canes has a very good track record when it comes to the flavor of the food.
thats crazy i got surprised with canes when i got home from work when this vid dropped. its the 2nd time ive had it 9:29 i split the bread in half smeared some sauce WITH the chicken on the bread and made a chicken sangwhich... im not overweight but i am a healthy american as low as the standards are.
I'll throw in another to the list of fast food places that have crinkle fries, and that's Jack's. Granted Jack's is only really known in the South, but it kind of looks like it might be the southern version of Cane's. If they sell burgers at Cane's that is, if not then that's the difference.
Nah culvers does crinkle cut fries as well. Theyve slowly started opening up in other states in recent years but they were originally a wisconsin only Fast food Chain. Got some good fucking burgers and cheese curds
Only other place I can think that does crinkle cut fries as a fast food place is church's chicken and man do they do their fries waaaay better than canes. Church's underrated AF!

Can verify this. ☝️
Agreed as another canes worker
I tried employing for the 3rd time but y'all are annoying with the Bot on the website to selecting members.

This Lee guy needs to take over the TH-cam Meta, needs to be the ceo of TH-cam- cause his comedy is needed to be noticed.
This warms my cold, dead heart. Much appreciated.
1:10 "The service here is disgraceful."
Literal seconds later: napkins come raining down from the heavens 😂
we love peaceful animal crossing music while 3 irish fellas and their cameramen engorge on raising cane's. content of the year
2:34 funny enough, Arby's makes curly fries in their stores however the sell crinkle cut fries in grocery stores.
If you think about it.... this is technically, "The Life of Brian" where he would often vlog a lot.
14:59 That high-pitched "WHA???" 🤣
Loving Lee, he's so unhinged haha.
24:58 I was jumping randomly through the video, landing here out of context.

I think i might like this sauce

I was a former Raising Cane's employee and I'm glad to see you enjoyed the food
I could watch content like this for hours. Just the boys chilling for real, talking about life
Lee getting unhinged towards the end there. Christ, my guy.
17:39 I was looking at my phone and then turn my head so fast when brain said Knickers😭😂
Is it just me, or does Steve look like an Irish Fred Flintstone? 😂😅
Steve looks like if Panda and Nogla were the same person

Sonic has their new “groovy” fries which are the crinkle cuts like you were asking for!
This video was a banger I love the banter between yall 😂
Lee absolutely going in towards the end! That man needed to be put to bed 😂
So crinkle fries/chips just recently a few years ago were added to Arby's menu and an American food branch called Culver's, for culver's it's their main fry, the Sonic Drive-In where live just started recently doing crinkles over regular fries

Culver’s has those type of fries i recommend it. it’s really good they have good burgers and ice cream
This 15:33 feels like a father showing off his child to his friends while drinking.
the texas toast is the first thing to go bad out of that box. Warm and buttery its delicious, but it cools and dries quickly
im glad you didn't forget to give seats to your friends and yourself now it doesn't look so uncomfortable lol
Dear god if I was in that group I'd have died of laughter already...
Jack’s has crinkle cut fries and their seasoning on their fries are pretty damn good
I usually like ordering 4 toast and 2 chicken, then sandwich it. Works well
I just tried cane's for the first time the other day and I enjoyed it peeps
Yall definitely need to try Culver's so good
I can't wait til they do a Dave's Hot Chicken or Bundoo Khan video.
I do fully eat the big toast that comes with the meal, it has a slight garlic taste to it and it's very soft
You should come to Nebraska to try Runza
The sauce is a mayonnaise-based sauce with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings like garlic powder and lots of freshly cracked black pepper.
Happy to say I'm an RC employee Brian Tky for enjoying our 🐔. Fingers crossed for the sponsor
☝️❤️
If you come to the Midwest, Culver’s has crinkle cut fries and cheese curds!!

Bruhh Im literally eating Popeyes, scooping my biscuit in my mash and gravy when the boys were talking about.
Sonic has those top tier fries
Del Taco crinkle cut fries are underrated!!!!
The recipe (The one that I know) for the cane sauce is mayonnaise ketchup white vinegar salt pepper Cajun seasoning garlic powder I believe onion powder I can't fully remember
RT44 at Sonic, 44 ounces of drink, but it's 8-20 ounces of ice. But flavoristas are great, and you can't get those at other fast foods.
if you want to know why I personally believe the food tastes different from location to location, and time to time, is because of the kitchen situation. It could be that they could have the same recipe and ingredients, but people make it a different way depending on the chef. There is another fast food place in America that does crinkle cut fries and it’s called Culver’s
10 year cook here. It all depends on what they can order. More popular companies will try to be different. Nut over all its basically cut like macdons
Sonic does groovy fries that are crinkle, and I think Culver's also does them.
Get the Louisiana Hot sauce packets from them, mix one packet with the Canes sauce!! Its the superiour Sauce!!!
There is a Cane's in the PNW!?! Since when!
did they mix the canes sauce with Louisiana hot sauce, because if not they missing out.
Canes and bars are the only places ive had crinkle cut fries
Zaxbys does crinkle fries aswell.
thats crazy i got surprised with canes when i got home from work when this vid dropped. its the 2nd time ive had it
9:29 i split the bread in half smeared some sauce WITH the chicken on the bread and made a chicken sangwhich... im not overweight but i am a healthy american as low as the standards are.
culvers has crinkle cut as well
no crinkle fries can be found at many places
hehe i read th title and thought they where going to try alot of different veriant of candy canes XDD
If you think Cane's bland shite chicken is good, you'll think Zaxby's chicken is the Chicken Pot Pie of food. 😂
Yehhh those fries are only in canes and sonic in the fast food industry
I'll throw in another to the list of fast food places that have crinkle fries, and that's Jack's. Granted Jack's is only really known in the South, but it kind of looks like it might be the southern version of Cane's. If they sell burgers at Cane's that is, if not then that's the difference.
