These videos are really, really excellent. The "what to study" list is spot on, and helps study time to be efficient and time wasted on studying unnecessary information to a minimum.
Thank you for the great suggestions. I should watch this video before my first try on PJM. I will follow these Strategies for my second try, hopefully, the last one.
Thank you for your videos! this have been really helpful. I used your timeline/references for CE and I passed this weekend!. Have you use Blackspectacles? If yes, do you recommend them?
Great job! I'm so happy to hear the video helped and you passed CE! I have only used Black Spectacles when I was studying for the the PPD/ PDD exams. In my experience, the videos took up a lot of time and they did not go into enough depth to pass the exams. I was able to cover more content in less time just by reading on my own. I have friends that recommend their practice exams, but I do not have experience with them. My suggestion is do not use Black Spectacles as your only source to study if you do choose to use that service. Make sure you also reference the primary sources listed in the NCARB handbook.
Thanks for all the information. Quick question. Did you study all the contract documents list from the NCARB? Or you only studied the four contracts that you mentioned in the video?
I studied all of the contracts listed in the NCARB references for PjM exam. Once you start reading through them, you will realize that a lot of them are very similar and that there are really only four different types of contracts for this exam. Hope that helps!
Congrats on passing! Thank you for all this info. I don't have an account with Pluralsight, could you share a link to all the pages I need to read from AHPP?

Yes, I studied from the sample contracts. You can download the free previews from the AIA website and you can also access the contracts through your NCARB account. This link explains how to find them through your account www.aiava.org/aia-documents-free-through-my-ncarb-for-the-are/
My typical study routine was studying Quizlet flashcards on my commute to and from work (10-30min), studying with a friend during my lunch break 2-3 times per week (1hr), studying after work Monday - Thursday (1-3 hrs each night), Friday was typically my night off from studying (enjoy happy hour!), weekends I would study anywhere between 5-12 hrs depending on how behind I was on my schedule and how close it was to exam day.
Thank you for your video it seems very helpful. I tried to take project management twice and failed. I already passed practice management. based on your studying experience do you think it's better to move on to construction and evaluation or try project management again first?
@@marishlarosa Going for project management again. Hopefully the scoring explanation and the ncarb practice text will help to focus on certain topics I’m the lease good at.
It depends on a couple factors. If you are feeling burnt out by the Project Management exam, I would move on the CE so you can take a break from the PjM. This will also allow you to save time so you dont have to wait the 60 days to take another exam. You can probably knock out the CE exam within a month and then come back the PjM. If you were close to passing PjM, just want to get it over with, and are not worried about time, you can definitely keep trying at PjM until you pass. If you take this route, take a look at your score report and really focus on the categories you did not meet the minimum requirements. Hope this helps and happy studying!
Passed PjM today!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Congrats! So glad you found these videos helpful! :)
