    ALSO... (as we do in advertising)...
    The BRAIN will "Follow" the Color of each Circle...
    In this case... the Lighter Color blue goes one way... and the darker color blue goes the other way...
    BUT... if ALL the Circles were the same color... the brain could/would pick either way, because the distance between the Circles are the same...
    Excellent Example... Thank you for sharing this great video.

    In the Continuity example, I would expect all the circles to be the same color. By having the 3 extra circles a different color, wouldn't you be showing the "Similarity" law as well?

    very succinct and organized. But what about these other often cited "figure and ground", aspective view and coincidence etc? Can you elaborate on those as well? Thank you

    • @sitthuson
      @sitthuson 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, his last example is" figure and ground" not "closure" (although very similar). "figure and ground" which gives you an understanding of what is the ground simply using context figures around it. by looking at the surrounding figures the triangle (ground) is what got out of it.

    • @sitthuson
      @sitthuson 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      "Closure" is like he says, our brain fills in the missing info, like when you see a road sign/or company logo that was washed out or smeared out or incomplete, but your brain fills in the missing info to give a full picture.

    I really have a problem since I was a child. I can't perceive informations in group. I always focus on its parts, and then parts of its parts. I know it's a bicycle but I kinda don't really care, I just look at the pedal and its edges. Is that a problem?

    • @cassiuscunningham4525
      @cassiuscunningham4525 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes very huge problem for sure

    • @TheVariableConstant
      @TheVariableConstant 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It could be a sign of childhood trauma e.g. child abuse (neglect or molestation) It could also be an early sign of mental illness (schizophrenia). It really depends, it could even be a sign of high intelligence and ability to group and ungroup information easily. But the limited description seems to point to childhood causes.

  • @nahalitet11111111111
    @nahalitet11111111111 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I think that your example about continuity is not good. In your case you have two colors of circles, which also applies to the similarity law, so you are already conditioning the viewer to favor it
