when I bought mine I replaced the factory trigger with a timney set at 3lbs then replaced the internal mag with a box magazine, it is now a suberb hunting rifle. love it.
I have this rifle and love it, the only thing I have to say is please call Remington with your serial number and ask for the recall. I was at my brother in law deer lease and we were sighting in, I sat the gun down pointing at the 100 yard target while we grabbed a sandwich and this thing fire on its own yes on it's own. They have a recall on this completely free of charge. They send you a box you ship the rifle they fix it and send it back to you. If I can find the work order I will comment on what they did.

Mine had a trigger pull of 5 lbs, To damn much, 💩canned the screw in the trigger and brought it down to 4 lbs. Still to much but I can't afford a Timney,or to pay a gunsmith. Such is the story of my life.
I agree it doesn't look great, but we are talking a 700 here. You really want to throw a nice stock on something you will drag out in the woods over and over again? It is lightweight and something I don't think many people would care if it gets mucked up. Can we agree on that?
I got one in 6.5 creedmoor, won't shoot better than 2 inches when I got it. Plastic stock would get warm and push barrel all over place. Only one recoil touched in action. Trigger just flat sucked at 6 lbs. Filled forend full of fiber epoxy and free float barrel,beaded action, lapped bolt lugs and adjusted trigger down to about 2.5 lbs. But of stock is hollow and noisy as he'll in the brush so filled it with silicone calk.(tried spray foam but was still real noisy). Rifle still doesn't shoot great...Throat in barrel is real long but magazine box is short...if I load a bullet out Sami spec. it won't fit in magazine and still can't get bullet anywhere rifling...I really don't know what to think ..maybe bad barrel but it's almost a new gun , less than 200 rounds

Do better than that. Replace the trigger with a Timney. You won't regret it.

question: if you thread the muzzle of a Rem. 700 SPS tactical does that make it a Rem. 700 ACC SPS tactical ?

ADL has a blind magazine. This rifle clearly has a hinged magazine floorplate and 2 tone synthetic stock. It's an SPS.
