watched a legendary I got go through the floor and yet this machine still didn't give me shit, love it. Haven't seen this machine work AT ALL. Lovely!

I wish the blue uniques were given more priority than standard blue rarity items at the very least

In moxxis vending mashines these blue items with red text count as legendary! Just got trolled yesterday... 🙄
mine is always empty.. if you dont play in COOPERATIVE mode the Lost And Found wont store your rare item drops for you. Fyi.

@@spitballfire your welcome. It makes sense if you think about it. Competition mode is like the original borderlands, in those games loot was shared, if you didnt grab the loot someone else could. Lol. So of course the Lost and Found wont stash your rare loot drops for you :P
Mine on my Amara toon it just doesn't work no matter what mode I'm doing.

I have never yet seen the lost loot machine work on any of my single player sessions. The only time I have been able to use it is when I'm grouped with a friend.

That’s actually very good to know. I’m keeping with my Borderlands tradition of only using/selling green or better items but this will be helpful if I have extra blues or better in the field.
I thought that this machine would take legendary items or anointed items if I accidently left them or a weapon got out of bounds/ forgotten.
Lost 3 legendarys to out of bounds areas.

I'm really loving this game so far. I know there's a few bugs and frame rate drops, but all that can be fixed with future patches. It's more borderlands which we all wanted and the improvements in this game are major compared to previous games
Thanks for the confirmation, i had kinda guessed thats what it did, but did NOT know it was only blue and up. Even cooler. Been playing as Fl4k but think ill do what you did and start another character simultaneously, wanna check out that mech suit 😉

my lost loot dont work! i killed those big mechs in slaughter 3000 and the L's from them didnt come to the lost loot! i never seen it on ever!
This always works for me in Coop, but never does in Singleplayer.
This feature is great! One time I noticed that I killed a character that was on a ledge and dropped a legendary into the abyss. To my wonderful delight, I was able to recover it from the lost loot! It was painful to see that legendary shield just kept falling with no other way of recovering it!
that actually explains a lot I got glitched under the map on killing a boss and I had to save and quit even though I saw the legendary then I opened that lost loot thing and got 2 legendaries thanks killer six and thank gearbox lol
When I get legendaries out of this thing and I know I didn't leave any, what's that about?
I wish the vendor machines kept the 'Press (button) to sell all unfavorited loot" from Pre Sequel.
that still is a thing. on PS4 it's left stick to favorite/unfavorite and triangle to sell all. should be applicable to Xbox controls
All you need to do is mark your items as junk, the machines have a sell all junk button

@@LightCrib2 Well, if you go in your menu when you're just in front of the vendor, then yes it's longer. Personally I loot and then I check in my inventory what's keep and what's junk, so I mark everything then and there, as I switch around to possibly new weapons. Then when I come across a vendor it's a simple button push.
If you drop an item will it be stored in the lost loot box? Also if you are playing and don't pick up hundreds of items how does it select which items to put in the Lost loot box, is it in order of finding them or does it go by item score?

My lost loot machine never worked.. yes i play cooperative, yes I know that it only picks up blue weapons or higher. Still can't seem to get that machine work.. any suggestions? please help!
I killed an enemy and the legendary went flying off the edge into the water where I would die if I tried to follow it and it didn't go to the lost loot machine why is that?
The stuff I leave around never ends up in the lost loot and I’ve tryed it over and over again it only gives me maybe one gun in it

Not really, cause the capacity is really limited. So you lose lots of loot tho
Easy money is when your grenade homes, bounces three times off of enemies, and also drops 3 piles of cash for each enemy hit.

how doing one about, "weapon loyalty"(Borderlands 3)? what you get as rewards. i did the Final boss(chapter 23 @ lvl 44). BL3 did away with weapon ranks.

Drowsy Dan if you have your friend pick it up after you reclaim it at your own lobby the game wouldn't have a way to separate the loot.
My friends can't see myb lost loot. Only if I pick it up and throw it back down. At that point it's lost

My lost loot machine doesn't work. It hasn't picked up anything that has dropped. Im level 20 so far and I have left behind blue guns and higher before.

I hope gearbox fixes the issues with the stuttering real soon, doesnt bother me that much while playing but its definetly noticable in a video, not faulting you k6.
For some reason mine doesn't save any loot I get on my lvl 50 flak but it works for my moze
I accidentally duped a smart gun xxl, i tried to pick it up on a full inventory then threw something away to pick it. This morning, i check the machine and it spat another one

thanks for the info. im new to borderlands and didnt understand how the postmaster worked on here. tbh it should be bigger and collected A LOT more items and put almost everything in there.... a bit like destiny's postmater

My first legendary in the game was a weapons trinket and i don't even know how to use it... think you could make a quick video on that? Thanks!
Go to your active weapon slots and theres a little box on the left of each one. Click it and you open the trinkets menu, one trinket can be equipped on each slot but you can use a single trinket multiple time. Just know they're small and kinda unnecessary.
Any idea why that machine doesnt work for me?
My theory is this machine may only work in single player. Been playing co-op this whole time and I haven't seen any loot go to it.

Doesn't work for me either, woulda been useful when I was fighting the queen of saurians and the king of jabbers, since the king went out of the map and wasn't able to grab a couple purples he dropped
Try switching from competition to cooperation (or whatever the new mode is called)

I think it condenses items. Because my level 34 character just got a bunch of level 44 items from it. 34 is my highest level character.

You may have your coop settings set to "coopetition", switch it to "cooperative", and it should collect loot again.

you can buy SDUs from Marcus to expand how many items it picks up for you. idk the limit
Its 6 by default by 13 is cap through SDU upgrades but its all your highest item level and rarity that you don't pick up

MrLewizz I figured it out... lost loot doesn’t work on Coopetition. Only on cooperation.
The eridium slot machine must be broken because on my second try I got the infinity pistol
Mine has never worked. It works for everyone in my party. But it never worked for me in any game, multi, single, nor cooperative.

Hmm Im Lvl 40 finished the big Vault but I never was able to use this Maschine, why? Is it maybe I play in Singleplayer Mode offline?
Make sure you’re set on cooperation mode at the main menu

If you drop a Blue+ item from your inventory does it get picked up by the system?
Apparently stuff you picked up and dropped doesn't get picked up.
in my game there are A LOT of legendary drops (compared to all previous games, too much IMO). But the machine never holds more than one legendary. Has this been explained?
So is this the only way to transfer loot between characters? If there's another version of Claptrap's locker, I haven't noticed it yet.

I thought if u missed items it would appear in there, killed a boss got 5 legendaries and i was disconnected... they didnt show up in the box, infact nothing ever shows up in the box for me
You might have your game's session setting is on "Coopetition" mode, try changing it to "Cooperative" mode at the main menu, and see if that works.

Just spent an hour trying to farm the unseen threat and finally got it but it fell off the edge and my loot box is always full. I came to this video to try and understand how it works, cuz I feel like it should be a “highest score” system and if something higher score/rarity, it takes the place of the lowest. So now I gotta go back to trying to farm a rare spawn enemy 🤬🤬🤬

It seems to be a "Save, Quit, Reload," thing for most, but there are a few exceptions I think.
