Not many QB’s spread the ball around like Brady does. For him to complain about targets his way from Brady, Brady said his favorite receiver. His favorite is the one that’s open. Gronk makes himself open and then fights more yards after the catch. He also is a great pass blocker which is why he is on the field so much.

The fact that AB was pissing and moaning about targets, then turns around and claim he was sitting because of his ankle, it's pretty clear the ankle was just an excuse for his behavior, instead of manning up to it.
Not just that, but a couple weeks before his agent asked the team to fully guarantee the remainder of this years contract which they declined to do. Now he thinks he's not getting enough targets to make his bonuses...... needs an excuse though that directs things in a different direction.
Not sure how this would be the case though, he was being targeted a lot when he was actually playing. He had maybe 1 game where he was targeted only a few times.
Not a clue. He had 10 catches for 100 yds the previous game, his first back after the suspension. So who knows what gets in this guys head and makes him paranoid that everyone is out to get him in some way. NO WAY its an actual injury thing though. Exactly. Every player knows the injury protocol. In every game players are injured... this is something coaches have been dealing with forever. If ABs ankle was acting up again? No problem... you report to the medical tent. You DONT sit on the bench complaining with the coaches. AB didn't like that at that point of the game Gronk was getting the majority of the targets. ABs injury and his exit from the game are 2 totally seperate issues He got hurt in practice and was quiestionable for the game. Everybody knew that. He got cleared to play and decided to suck it up and play. That got settled before the game even started. The IN GAME issues are different. He started throwing a tantrum and complaining about not getting the ball and refused to go in. The coach then Benched him and everybody saw the video of how the actions transpired. The reason he exited the game was related about him not getting the ball - the injury situation got settled way before that AB now is trying to relate both situations to save his face AND I DONT BLAME HIM one bit (many would do that if they were on his spot) His career is on the line and he got to throw his hail marys so save it before the clock hits 0 but it simply is not the truth. He got those 15 targets for like 110 yds vs Panthers and thought it was going to be like that every week.

Listen to podcast Pardon My..where they interviewed Uber driver on night Antonio Brown left. He said Brown said it was because he wasn't getting throws. This lines up with an argument Brown seems to be having with TB12 just before Arians told him to go in and Brown refused. 8:07 Arians said AB and Mike Evans were both on “pitch counts” which means he knew they were hurt and couldn’t play every down. But now we’re to believe that the Bucs wanted to get AB evaluated AFTER they kicked him off the team some time this week?
Exactly, Great deductive reasoning here. You do not have players on a pitch count unless they are injured or you are trying to save them for the playoffs. (and we are way too early to rest players for playoffs) But the narrative that he was so close to 3 contract bonuses that would equal $1 mil., makes the lack of targets an interesting story line that could be part of it.
@@smbonna AB was out for a couple games with an ankle and evans was having hammy issues. Keep in mind the head coach is dealing with 60* plus people on the sideline and multiple coaches and analyst in the box.
So benefit of doubt...best case we are trying to say is A.B hurt himself further during jets game and miss communication between coach B.A and player is main reason for his exit? Its so simple on what happened yes he had a bad ankle but did not go through protocol or communicate to anyone that he didnt feel good enough to play leading up to the game most likely because AB wanted to hit his incentives, then at halftime when he wasnt getting alot of targets by that point he got the sooks and gave up on the game and used the ankle as the scape goat.
Agreed. If I'm the coach and you play the first half of the game, I'm assuming you're fine unless you follow protocol and go to medical and say that you can't go anymore. The whole team tried to calm him down and he was riled back up on the sidelines and told Bruce, "I am not going to play because I am not getting the ball." and then he told that to the Uber driver and talked about that on the phone the whole Uber ride. Not one sentence about injury until he realized he was going to lose his contract money.
And how did he not have a choice to be vaccinated or not? The rule wasn't get vaccinated or don't play. It was get vaccinated or face a different protocol. His solution was to make a fake vaxx card, and then get vaccinated anyways. AB is an idiot in the decisions he makes.
Lack of targets is fake news. Tom would have made sure antonio got his catches, yardage and TDs to get the 1million bonus.....you cant convince me tom wouldn't throw to AB. He threw to AB at least 3 screen passes last year to get AB the bonus
That mainly applies when you’re up in a game and have the flexibility to do so. The fact that people have the idea of Brady so ingrained in their heads because he’s done it a few times in a 20 year career is mind boggling.
Multiple sources are reporting this though about the targets pissin and moaning, and his own text "evidence" has him throwing shade at TB12 and his trainer guy saying something along the lines of "this was their plan the whole time"....?? So who knows what gets in this guys head and makes him paranoid that everyone is out to get him in some way. NO WAY its an actual injury thing though. CTE is the real excuse for his behavior.
@@noonecares7730 Wont know for sure until an autopsy some day.... but someone made the point that this has been his behavior his entire career in the NFL (exact same MO as Steelers in fact), but also goes back to problems in college, and statements his family made about how he was growing up. ABs injury and his exit from the game are 2 totally seperate issues
He got hurt in practice and was quiestionable for the game.
The reason he exited the game was related about him not getting the ball - the injury situation got settled way before that
AB now is trying to relate both situations to save his face

@@windwalker5765 You’re probably right and sadly we won’t know if that was the case for years. Regardless, personality wise he was never the same after the Burrict hit.
If we see him on the Chiefs in the superbowl I wouldn't be surprised
Hunt won’t touch AB with a 10 ft pole.
He can’t play he is hurt remember!😉
Omg you killed him haha
Sure thing bud
We would want AB around about as much as we want Jackson Mahomes around.
Give it a couple years and I’m looking forward to the Crime In Sports episode about Antonio Brown.
Right after the Aaron Hernandez episode.
@@jerryjeromehawkins1712 that’s going to be a wild episode!!
Isnt there video of them on the sideline?
Everybodys telling the truth AND lying at the same time lol ...AB had a bum ankle but the deal was he'd play through it. But when he didnt get his targets he sited the ankle as the ISSUE Arians knew About the ankle but also knew that AB agreed to play through it. Everbody just wants to come out clean....lol
AB was not complaining about the ankle is the whole point and he didn't do the injury protocol that every player knows to do. If his ankle was bothering him, he only had to go to the team trainer and that trainer would have told Bruce. Instead, AB was shouting at Tom all halftime because Tom was not giving him enough targets and was throwing to Gronk and he resented it.
I was about to comment this, guess I don’t need to lol
At halftime
GRONK: 6 targets
AB: 5 targets
Evans: 4 targets
He said "Its his choice, its his body" but not when it comes to the jab!!!!!
And how did he not have a choice to be vaccinated or not? The rule wasn't get vaccinated or don't play. It was get vaccinated or face a different protocol. His solution was to make a fake vaxx card, and then get vaccinated anyways. AB is an idiot in the decisions he makes.
Exhibit 1: Antonio jumping and skipping his way out of the stadium.
Lack of targets is fake news. Tom would have made sure antonio got his catches, yardage and TDs to get the 1million bonus.....you cant convince me tom wouldn't throw to AB. He threw to AB at least 3 screen passes last year to get AB the bonus
He had one reception at half
He had 5 targets at half. And was on a snap count lol
That mainly applies when you’re up in a game and have the flexibility to do so.
The fact that people have the idea of Brady so ingrained in their heads because he’s done it a few times in a 20 year career is mind boggling. Guarantee Brady wants to play to win first, not spoon feed certain players while being down.
If Gronk will get you that first, guarantee that’s where it’s going when the game is on the line.
@@ca11medeemoney tom threw consecutive passes to AB last season to get him the bonus
@@declass9481 Tom threw AB the ball last season consecutively until AB hit milestones for bonus. Tom did it last year, why would tom not do it this year?
The Character of BA or the character of AB? Hmmm....which one should I choose?
And yet Derrick Henry is doing anything he can to get back from injury to help his team in the playoffs. That’s what a professional does. Hell Ronnie Lott had them cut off his finger so he could play.
Derrick Henry is a beast mentally and phyically.
What Ronnie Lott did was dumb. And is an example of how absolutely ridiculous the nfl was towards players back in the day. Amputation to avoid missing games only makes sense in a sport where they were covering up CTE.
@@quikdeath100 yeah maybe so, but no one ever question his heart or integrity. AB is a great player. But it all about him and no one else. That’s fine if you can live with your peers thinking your a POS.
“Antonia Brawnnnnn” - Pat mcafee
I believe BA and the Bucs. Do not believe a word that comes out of the mouth of AB.
If AB is telling the truth, those recordings will never be broight forward. If bruce and the bucs are telling the truth, those recording wouldve been released already by roger goodell.
This is literally a case of the boy who cried wolf, but is there a wolf is the question we want answered.
Hey guys. You don't have to side with anyone until the facts come out.
The ankle injury is the first excuse for Antonio clown by the time all this is over he'll have 100 more excuses
Has everybody forgotten that AB was jumping around in the end-zone. I am pretty sure that his ankle wasn't bothering him that bad.
Running a route is way different, hoss!
@@KQwest98 still doesn't change the fact he never had the trainer even look at his ankle 🤣
Brady played with an ankle injury all through the 2020 season and got surgery immediately after the Super Bowl. Players play injured in the NFL literally every single day. The fact that AB is pretending this is news to him tells you all you need to know. As Arians said, no one can force a player to play. These guys play through injuries because they WANT to. These are not poor college kids. These are adults and millionaires. Think about it just a little bit people. Players also get sent to the locker room literally all the time. That doesn't excuse making a big spectacle of it, running onto the field and risking a penalty for your team. There is no excuse for AB's behavior and any team would be insane to sign him. Look what he's done to is former team as they prepare for the playoffs. Disgraceful.
That’s pathetic of you to say he should play through and injury cause other people do. First, that’s just disgusting. Second, no injury is the same. Third, Brady is a molasses QB not pounding his ankle with every step.
.
Grow up.
Brady had a knee injury for the majority of 2020, not ankle.
@@earthshinestudios8736 Ok. Doesn't change my point though
Friday: "Breaking News! Julian Edelman comes out of retirement and signs with the Bucs!"
Saturday Morning: "Breaking News! Larry Fitzgerald signs with the Bucs!"
Everyone: *Dafuq*
So if he’s injured why does he want the ball more 😂 ab has made plenty of money I don’t know if doing this was worth it for his career going forward
Good question.
He wanted the money guaranteed at first. He went to the front office on Wednesday and asked to get his incentives guaranteed and they said no. He then did not practice that day, Thursday nor Friday, went through the walkthrough on Saturday then came the targets issue on Sunday.
@@kactuszakk4203 he may have felt like "whats the point of me risking more injury if im not getting targeted as much" ... but yeah im leaning more towards him wanting to hit those incentives lol
AJ trying to hold it together when Pat whips the mini championship belt on his shoulder.
The TRUTH:
1) AB is an amazing human.
2) BA is a horrible person.
3) BA has a long history of lying and having former players dislike him.
4) AB has a history of holding himself accountable - every team he’s been on.
5) AB does not focus on his stats or targets - only wins.
6) AB’s known for his character and credibility.
Wait..
I see what you did there. 🤣
Who taught you how to dangle like McJesus? 4:58
dude was on pace for double digit targets that game😂 makes no sense on either side lmao.
Trying to make sense of AB is like trying to understand theoretical physics. You’ll just end up more confused.
That's how you know someone is lying 🤥
That statement was not wrotten by brown. Lets get that straight.
