    Good build video, but I recommend any metal part that is threaded and the screw that goes into it need to be cleaned with alcohol to remove any oils from their surface that was left behind by the machining process. This oil can prevent your thread lock from functioning properly. I use a proxy brush that you use to clean between your teeth and rubbing alcohol.

    Very nice model and build off part 1, looking forward to part 2 with the beast x setup including the parameter menu.😊.

      Not doing a setup of the Microbeast in this video as did one in one of the other video’s can’t remember which one though

      @rchelichekuk6655 ,ok no problem, I am setting up a beast x v5.4 myself it's a bit stressful.

      Unfortunately part 2 is slightly delayed, the tail servo was DOA so we’re just waiting on a replacement. It should be with me for the this weekend 😉

    Why does the tail slider travel so much less to rudder right than left? It seems like the linkage isn’t long enough. Anyone else seeing this?

    Is this a total novice build, I've replaced linkages on my M2 v2, could I build this ?

      Yes quite easily if you follow the instructions

    Thank you SO MUCH! I watched this video a dozen times before my TB40 arrived. Built most of it last night. The motor wires are horribly close to the main shaft belt though, any advice on how you managed to arrange them on this? Can't see your wire route in this video. Oh this is also my first kit build so I'm new at this.... only flown BNF models until now. Thanks again!

      Glad it helped. Check out part two of the TB40 pal the installation of the esc is at the beginning of that video and you can see how I feed the wires through the airframe bud.

    Hi Rob
    some advice if possible
    I am thinking of buying the AlignTB 60 with the view of later using the helicopter for building a scale helicopter
    Can you advise me would this be a good model to learn scale flying and do you know of a good fuselage that is reasonably easy to use for this setup .
    I know its a bit of an open end question but I have to start asking somewhere

      @TheRMRCchannel  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Let me look into that one pal, the TB60 is a good model to use as a trainer type aircraft as long as you dial it down with lower head speeds and decreased pitch, as for a fuselage for it I will need to look around for that as distance from head to tail and height of rotor head determines what fuselage you can use. Leave it with me bud.

    Is it the same size as a 500

    • @TheRMRCchannel
      @TheRMRCchannel  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Slightly smaller but bigger than a Trex 470

    I think Align missed a trick. They could of modified the canopy to be like the goosky or the goblin. Where I think they nicked a load of their design cues, and made a beluga style nose which is hinged and then you could put the battery in without taking off the Canopy

    • @TheRMRCchannel
      @TheRMRCchannel  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Align have designed a great model in the TB40 of which none of it even comes close to a Goosky or Goblin, but Align have just stuck to the tradition of how they build helicopters. I’m sure the flying characteristics aren’t effected by the way the battery is installed after all they are going for a great flying model, not how lazy they are about putting batteries in and out of it

    • @TheRMRCchannel
      @TheRMRCchannel  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@atxplus end of the day each person to they’re own regarding opinions on what a manufacturers should and shouldn’t do with a design of a helicopter model. Align have just produced to new models in the TB60 and TB70, none of which people are moaning about how they have to take the canopy off to put a battery in, XL Power and Tron both still develope models as well as SAB, where the canopy is removed to put lipos in, I don’t hear anyone else complaining about having to take canopies off to put batteries in with them models. It seems like the user just wants too nit pick at a new model.

    I just got my new gps 450 heli in the mail. It's Flywing RTF assembled . I just had to put the blades on. This has never happened to me before but soon as I lifted off. It started to like wobble off and on. It kinda looks like wind turbulence but with no wind. Do you know what would be causing that. I adjusted the blades but didn't help.

    • @TheRMRCchannel
      @TheRMRCchannel  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Unsure without actual seeing it and what it does. Could be the head speed is too low or the other is the gyro gain is off on the gps and that could cause it too wobble

    • @dradden1556
      @dradden1556 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was looking at my blades while it was running at top rpm, on the ground. I and someone else noticed the main rotor blades are moving their trac. Like up and down periodically . Kind of how it's wobbling up and down in the air.

    • @dradden1556
      @dradden1556 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'll check those thank you.. Someone who has this model said I may have had the battery pushed to far back in the provided trey. They said it throws the CG off and causes it to slight wobble cause the gps. Does that sound possible to you? I'm fairly new into this hobby so I'm not sure if that's possible.

    • @dradden1556
      @dradden1556 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You were right as usual. I turned the head speed up 10 % and it flew perfect. Thank you thank you again!!

    Ian didn't build that one, he would have done a far better job. That's just a simple P30 on an acrylic deck with a PSU underneath. Nothing fancy.
