Cidade com muito potencial, embora seja muito triste ver tantas tags e vandalismos em algumas aéreas. A rua do Corpo Santo parece uma zona de guerra. Como uma cidade que depende tanto do turismo permite isso?

Definitivamente há áreas que não parecem nada bonitas como a rua do Corpo Santo. Uma zona de guerra... Sim, pode ser.
Honestamente, eu também não entendo isso. Muitas pessoas dizem que é a simplicidade de Lisboa que faz da cidade um grande destino. Acho que se os muitos edifícios abandonados receberem um pouco de amor, será muito mais bonito do que já é.

@@PortugalWalkingTour Eu que agradeço pela réplica. Minha opinião é que simplicidade se encontra nas pequenas cidades do Alentejo, por exemplo, que são simples, mas aparentemente limpas e cuidadas. Isto que vemos em Lisboa é vandalismo de alguns, obrigando milhares a ver e pagar o preço (econômico, cultural, social e turístico) dele... Na sua opinião, Lisboa tem melhorado ou piorado nesta situação? Vejo muitos prédios em reforma.

Lisboa não melhorou. Os edifícios pioram e mais vandalismo é visível. Na verdade, muitos edifícios estão em construção no centro de Lisboa, mas têm uma finalidade turística e, portanto, o valor real dos edifícios diminui. Adoro Lisboa, mas deve haver muito trabalho para mantê-la bonita e limpa. Os problemas observados em Lisboa não são perceptíveis nas cidades mais pequenas de Portugal. No entanto, Lisboa ainda é um lugar encantador para se estar.

21:24, why is it I never see anyone make it up the spiral staircase to the fabulous view point on the roof of the Santa Justa Lift? Is it no longer accessible? Is it for security reasons? It seems to me it should be a big money maker for the city?

Hi Nigel. The roof of the lift is indeed closed. It make sense that it is for security reasons but I am not sure. On the entry of the stairs if a rotating gate to access but unfortunately always locked. It should be a good moneymaker indeed. However the staircases is really narrow it might be difficult to go on and off when it is busy.
If it is open it would have the best view over the city.

Mi pregunta es.El metro de Lisboa.Lindisimo y limpio.El de Madrid, una belleza.Limpio y puntual.El de Moscu, no lo he visto pero en los videos, hasta pinturas y obras de arte.Entonces, Nueva York, la capital del mundo, por que tiene un metro asqueroso y lleno de ratas y vagabundos?.Una verguenza ,de verdad.
