Japanese Rock has the best bass lines, instead of just "following" the guitar. L'arc en ciel was the reason for me wanting to start playing bass.

@@vortis18 It always depend on the bassist though, because even western bassist can be unique and do their own thing if they take the effort to come up with solos and lines that fit into the music but make it their own.

I used the neural dsp darkglass ultra plugin in this video, basically the vintage ultra model was used 🙌🙌
