I didn't come from Death Note I just like music. Anime is a side hobby. Its on and off to me. Other of my favorite bands had this in the suggestion side. I clicked it and then boom. I'm a fan of nightmare. Japanese Music always comes first to me. Anime last for me. Unfortunately I don't like Death Note, I tried to like it, but can't. Only 50% came from Death Note tbh. Not 80% are weebs dude lol.

Even if you're not a Death Note fan, the musicianship is spot on. Some fantastic little runs, fills, melodies and harmonies that just tick all boxes musically! Very good composition

Its been about 13ish years and im still in love with this song and with Death Note. Had it not been for Death Note I would have never discovered Nightmare. All their music is incredible, but this song just hits different. It's legendary. I want it playing at my deathbed.

I'm sorry if this isn't a great list, as I mostly listen to older bands (and I feel like neo-vkei songs would probably sound more similar to this one). However, I did do my best to give you songs that (in my impression) are similar to different aspects of this song. I wasn’t sure exactly what it was about Alumina that you liked, so I tried to diversify my recommendations so you could pinpoint what type of sound you were looking for.
