While planning a trip to Greece, we found out that Virgin Voyages was just beginning sailings around Greece and Turkey from Athens at the start of Summer 2023. Perfect timing! Instead of dragging our luggage across multiple islands, sitting on countless hot ferries, and spending all of time checking in and out of different hotels, we booked our sailing and were scheduled to embark on the Virgin Voyage’s Resilient Lady’s third ever voyage. Unsure exactly what to expect onboard but excited for the easy week of exploring ahead, we set sail for four stops throughout the Aegean Sea on a 7 night cruise we’ll never forget.
If you’re interested in island hopping in Greece, sailing with Virgin Voyages, or taking a European cruise, this just might be the cruise for you but we’ll warn you now, this cruise line’s not for everyone! From booking to disembarking and everything in between, here’s what it’s really like to take a Virgin Voyage cruise around the Mediterranean.
It really is fascinating how the Virgin ships are IDENTICAL - I'm hoping they come up with something fresh for the next ship that they'll produce. I was on Scarlet Lady in the Caribbean last week, and found her to be absolutely gorgeous!
We thought it looked very similar to Scarlet Lady as well. Beautiful ship but very similar to others.

Just wondering if you know whether you're allowed to take food or snacks off the ship when you go on land. If so, what are the limits? When you don't have to take a tender, can you go on and off the ship as much as you like? Thanks for the insight x
Hi, Thank you so much! Produce foods like apples or nuts are not allowed to leave the ship, but it's generally okay to have pre-packaged snacks like chips in your bag. If you don't have to take a tender you can go on and off the ship as much as you like throughout the day. Thanks for watching 😊

Hi, thanks for the informative video. I was wondering, when the ship is unable to dock ashore for a bunch of islands, and one has to take a mini boat from the ship to reach shore, is there a reservation system for those mini boats? or just first come first served? thank you!
Hi, Yes you will need to schedule the tender boarding times in advance on the Virgin Voyages app. Make sure to do this early so you get the times you want. People do move around their times a good bit so just check often when you get on the ship if you want to try and get a different time slot. Thanks for watching 😊
Are all restaurants included ?
Yes they are
Still only 2 pools 😩
They will not plan another pool only for one to two ships which are left. That uneconomical.
Is the service fast on board?
If you're asking about internet service. The basic internet was moderate speed mostly for using basic social media apps and web browser usage not enough for streaming video really but good enough and you have options for faster more premium internet. If your asking about food service it was very fast and quality service all around.
Can you only order food on your phone? Id like to order at a counter at least.
You order in person! You can order room service to the room and make dining reservations on the app, but all the ordering is in person
